    Senior Specialist – Product Management

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Create long-term and short-term product range plans
    • To maintain the Key product development files: NPI, SKU Monitor, Model retail pricing target, Product Introduction Calendar
    • To support the co-ordination of new product development issues
    • To monitor, manage and communicate internally all relevant legislations affecting all products
    • To work closely with the production plants providing product briefs and to guide them on product design, feature trends and to keep to date on market related costs
    • To provide effective and timely communication and support to internal customers such as Sales, Customer Support, Supply Chain and Service teams on all product related issues including: performance, market positioning, technical and commercial issues to ensure internal customers are up to date with all product related issues
    • To manage and provide reports on the SKU count and commercial performance of the ranges. Take necessary actions to improve performance or discontinue models to maintain a competitive range that is appealing to our retail customers
    • To develop marketable communications concepts backed by qualified data capable of supporting potential product promotional claims

     MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • BSc Degree in Engineering
    • Thorough understanding of the relevant market and a good understanding of the commercial environment and commercial relationships which can be incorporated into product strategies
    • 2 -3 years in a product management role is preferable
    • Creativity combined with excellent analytical skills coupled with attention to detail and advanced problem-solving skills
    • Effective interpersonal skills including ability to establish and develop good business relationships
    • MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • A clear understanding of South African consumer behaviour, current and future trends and technologies

    Category Specialist - Durban

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead the development, improvement and roll out of category strategies
    • Running cost saving projects and localization initiatives
    • Monitoring supply risks and developing sourcing strategies
    • Negotiating commercial terms and supply conditions
    • Benchmark studies
    • Inputting correct material prices in the system
    • Minimize pricing errors in SAP
    • Investigate & correct pricing errors

      MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Procurement.
    • High degree of analytical capability.
    • Understand manufacturing processes.
    • Ability to engage, network and influence suppliers.
    • Proven track record for problem solving and successful project delivery.
    • Proficient in MS Office Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
    • Must have very good SAP knowledge and skills.

    Associate-Distribution Planning

    Job Details

    We are currently on a search for the Distribution planner who will be responsible for optimising the movement of goods from order planning to customer delivery in the most cost-efficient manner. This entails but not limited to inventory management, route planning, stakeholder coordination, order fulfilment and risk management.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

    • Planning deliveries from national/regional warehouses to customers thereby.
    • Optimising transport costs and ensuring sales orders are expedited as per customers’ requirements.
    • Customer communication on a daily basis.
    • Ensuring that all dedicated vehicles are fully utilised.
    • Ensuring all deliveries are completed timeously.
    • Ensuring customer POD’s are captured at the relevant NDC/Branch.
    • Stock counts at financial year-end.
    • Reporting to Internal and external customers.
    • Adhoc administration functions.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    • Applicants must be in possession of a Degree in Logistics/Supply Chain.
    • 1-3 years’ experience within a supply chain with a focus on Outbound logistics.
    • Advanced MS Office experience.
    • Excellent communication skills are essential.
    • SAP Experience being a pre-requisite.
