    Grade A Supervisor

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Develop security procedure to support the security strategy.
    •  Assess security risks and ensure that proportionate measures are in place to protect visitors, staff, buildings, collections, assets and reputation.
    •  Encourage a security compliance culture Administration.
    •  The site files and security registers shall be updated and maintained as per attached index annexures.
    •  Ensure the correct registers are in place and are correctly completed.
    •  Ensure the registers are kept neat and tidy.
    •  Where applicable the notice boards in the guard houses shall be kept up to date and neat.
    •  A training file must be available with the training schedule of the year and on the job training Safety.
    •  All security officers must conduct the 4 steps to safety with the commencement of their shifts and record it in the OB and / or their pocket books.
    •  Appoint safety reps, first aiders and fire fighters where required and arrange for required training.
    •  Ensure all safety files are available and up to date.
    •  Ensure your vehicle comply with all safety requirements as required by clients and that it is taken for services as required by the manufacturer.
    •  Your vehicle must be inspected daily prior to using it and the inspection sheet filed for future reference.
    •  All security officers must be in possession of PPE as required for the specific tasks Site Operations Control.
    •  Remote posts must be visited at least once a week and all other sites twice a week.
    •  All clients must be visited once a week and the supervisory checklist must be signed by the client Ensure the following with post visit.
    •  All registers up to date and completed correctly.
    •  Sign all registers with OB no. as reference.
    •  All equipment in good working condition, make an OB entry.
    •  The post is neat and clean.
    •  Conducted on the job training with the officer and complete the register.
    •  Make an OB entry on all actions taken during the visit ].
    •  Sign the officer’s pocket book General Responsibilities.
    •  Check all equipment is in working order. 
    •  Pay attention to torches, radios, batons, hand cuffs and track sticks. (When in use)
    •  Handing over must be done with every shift change.
    •  Check that all security officers sign the attendance register correctly.
    •  Check the OB for any specific RED entries, made by the last shift.
    •  Check the IB for any new instructions received from the customer.

    Skills and Competencies    

    •  South African security legislation.
    •  Security Operational Processes.
    •  Health and Safety legislation.
    •  Working knowledge of MS Office.
    •  Verbal & written communication.
    •  Organization & leadership.
    •  Conflict Management.
    •  Risk identification.
    •  Dispute resolution.
    •  Verbal & written Communication.
    •  Accurate report writing.
    •  Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation.
    •  Attention to detail.
    •  Strong sense of urgency.
    •  Assertive.
    •  Ability to work under pressure.

    Qualifications    

    •  Grade 12 
    •  Supervisory Training / Certificate.
    •  PSIRA Grade A certificate.
    •  6 year's experience in Supervisory Management.
    •  Valid Driver’s license (Code B)

    Stock Cleck

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    •   Receiving goods from suppliers.
    •   Ordering of Uniform
    •   Assisting in checking the correctness and condition of deliveries.
    •   Verifying the contents of goods.
    •   Transferring stock inside the storeroom.
    •   Labelling items, storage, and transfer.
    •   Assisting with stock-taking activities.
    •   Notifying supervisors and managers of inventory levels.
    •   Packing items for storage.
    •   Supporting the Logistic manager in the course of their duties.

    Skills and Competencies    

    • At least 2 years’ post-qualifying experience as a Stock Clerk or similar role
    • Possess extensive knowledge of inventory management and experience
    •   in a related industry. An accomplished stock Clerk will be someone whose
    •    expertise translates into optimally maintained stock levels.
    •  Stocktake Knowledge
    • Receiving and dispatching

    Qualifications    

    • Matric
    • Valid Drivers License
