    Manex Lead - Boksburg

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    1. Plan

    • Responsible for the implementation, management, and successful operation of the Total Productive Management process in the plant.
    • Ensure site WCM master plan and actions are aligned with the category manufacturing strategy.
    • Coordinates the development of the WCM preparation phase plan, tracks progress against the plan and leads issue resolution (gap analysis and adjustments to plan).
    • Implements appropriate reviews (monthly, quarterly) to evaluate both pillars and departments progress in their WCM plans.
    • Facilitates the development of individual pillars, sets benchmarks with Pillar leaders, and tracks completion of pillar goals, including participation in pillar meetings, team meetings and activities.
    • Develops Pillar leaders and manages their development.
    • Serves as a resource and coach for questions and practices regarding the WC process
    • Serves as a WCM champion in the factory to promote WCM amongst management and employees

    2. Culture Change

    •   Ensure that WCM activities are impacting both results and the culture change towards the vision as determined by the plant zero loss journey, vision. including:
    • Managing recognition (passing steps, success case studies, competition: Best OPL (One point lesson), best improvement each month, lines exceeding a true efficiency level) Developing a thorough understanding of the WCM efficiency basics and their integration to deliver increased efficiency results early in the WCM implementation including the following systems:
    • OEE Loss tree (planned, unplanned) Centreline / Change over systems Maintenance basics (PM's work orders, Scheduled Maintenance, Breakdown elimination) Downtime tracking, analysis and review processes (Daily, weekly and monthly reviews) FOS Governance Focused improvement system.
    • Ensure effective consultant/coaching guidance:
    • Visits are well planned with proper pre-work (visit intent, issues list, help needed)
    • Visits are effective in providing the needed capability for the pillar leaders and department managers to progress in the WCM master plan and document learning's and follow ups from the visits, and identify plans to implement.

    3. WCM Capability building:

    • Ensure coordination of UMS education across the site:
    • Leadership education: (benchmark trips, pillar leaders training the leadership team, hands on workshops, leadership models)

    4. Digital Adoption

    • Lead and drive adoption and use of digital tools across the factory.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

    Experiences & Qualifications

    • Degree or Diploma (N6) in Mechanical, Industrial or operations management, production management preferable but can also have a trade and have come through the technical route of artisan / technician.
    • 5 years working in manufacturing environment directly with production teams.
    • Atleast 2-3 years leadership of first line production teams
    • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
    • Hands on experience with implementation of world class manufacturing system (WCM, TPM, Six Sigma etc.).
    • In depth knowledge of pillar methodologies and capability building

    Supply Chain Finance Director - La Lucia

    WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE

    Performance Management

    • Lead the performance management process for the SnA Supply Chain business covering all aspects of performance (both financial and non-financial) and engaging with a wide group of Supply Chain Leaders across the SA.  Overall responsibility for driving the monthly performance management cycle, including:
    • Preparation and presentation of SA SC results along with the Head of SC and his Leadership Team
    • Ad hoc presentation and representation of SC performance in various category meetings

    Driving Value from Supply Chain - Costs

    • Leadership of cost optimisation work in all areas of the SnA Supply Chain controlled costs, including:
    • Restructuring of the overall supply chain network
    • Production, including World Class Manufacturing
    • Logistics, including ZBB Logistics
    • Supply Chain Overheads, including C4G
    • Business Waste (including material waste)
    • Business Partner the Procurement Teams helping to:
    • Accelerate the localisation agenda for Africa to de-dollarise the cost base
    • Maximise all elements of the materials savings agenda

    Financial Management of the SA SC Business

    • Direct Financial Leadership for the four full SnA Supply Chain Business incl. Factories
    • Maydon Wharf & Phoenix
    • Indonsa
    • Boksburg

    • Zimbabwe

    Leading Talent & Teams:

    • Lead diverse team of direct reports (4 x WL2’s)
    • Develop succession planning and career progression plans for the team
    • Membership of the South Africa Finance Leadership Team
    • Membership of SA Supply Chain Leadership Team

    Skills, Experiences & Qualifications

    • Proven track record of being effective in a complex operating environment and driving business performance
    • Strong communication and influencing skills
    • Objectivity and integrity in the face of challenge; courage and personal resilience
    • Ability to build networks and manage multiple senior stakeholders
    • Understanding or ability to quickly grasp financial principles in the end-to-end Supply Chain, identify and drive relevant value-creating choices and decisions
    • Leadership of change – the ability to drive change management initiatives, staying close to best practices and relevant external developments
    • Driving efficiency and effectiveness in the performance management cycle, working with Supply Chain and Supply Chain Finance
    • Team leadership and talent development
    • The applicant must be a qualified accountant with a professional qualification, preferably CA, ideally with prior significant supply chain experience
    • The applicant should have 10 years of experience in Finance and 5 years leading teams

    IT Executive Support Services Analyst - La Lucia

    Main Accountabilities

    Core activities

    • Provide Exec’s and their PA’s advice on the technology they use and any changes that occur which will enable them to improve their effectiveness
    • Resolve issues, whether Hardware related or Software, to ensure the VIP or PA are up and running quickly with minimal disruption
    • Build new Laptop’s for VIPs/Personal Assistants providing guidance on choice of Hardware and training on how to use it effectively
    • Provide meeting room support ensuring technology is working as designed and set up in advance to avoid any disruption

    What is required in completing the activities

    • Review workload with team and ensure appropriate support given to key issues that require priority focus. This could be either support issues or providing training/guidance
    • Deal with daily requests and re-prioritize workload using own initiative highlighting key issues to the IT Executive Services Manager
    • Deliver 1-1 training to VIPs/Personal Assistants on new technology changes that will impact and change the ways of working
    • Provide out of hours support and weekend cover via rota system
    • Provide input into the Data repository of key issues affecting Exec’s and changes to the profile/IT set up

    Key Skills and Competencies needed

    • Is passionate about delivering great Customer Service
    • Has a highly organised workstyle & can prioritise issues to ensure the many demands are all followed up in a timely manner
    • Has very good people skills to be able to develop relationships with customers
