    Customer Service Agent

    Job Purpose:

    • To support the Claims Department Call Centre through accurate, efficient, and timeous answering calls, handling queries within various SLAs, SOPS Turnaround times

    Skills & Competency Requirements

    • Grade 12/NQF4
    • Basic Computer Skills
    • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
    • Well versed in Business English (written and verbal)
    • Communicates clearly and reasons logically
    • Customer Service Orientation
    • Respects and works well with others
    • Operates as a team player
    • Prioritizes, follow-up and orders work in a methodical manner
    • Conscientious - meets deadlines and pays attention to detail to ensure quality

    Duties And Responsibilities

    • Query receipt and resolution
    • Call Management
    • Customer Service
    • Attend to correspondence (Emails)
    • Attend to telephone queries from Insureds
    • Attend to all ad hoc tasks when required
    • Check that all documents required for the claim are on the claim file
    • Request outstanding documentation from the client.
    • Attach documents to the claim
    • Update UW on device detail changes
    • Data maintenance – ensuring system data remains updated and relevant

    Experience & Qualifications Required

    • Creation of compelling sales/marketing material within a fast paced, dynamic environment

    • Degree/Qualifications in Creative / Artistic Discipline or equivalent industry experience
    • Desktop publishing software skills such as Photoshop, InDesign, and full Microsoft Office Suite

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop an “identity” for the bid and ensure brand presence across all related material / media
    • Support the sales & bid team members in the production of customer facing imagery and designs that convey value propositions, win themes and the solution narrative
    • Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) to turn written, numerical, and existing content into compelling visual representations
    • Ensure compliance with required proposal deliverables and timescales
    • Create and manage a range of document and presentation templates
    • Work within corporate brand guidelines

    • Photoshop, degree, InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite
