    Field Sales Engineer

    Job Purpose:

    ifm is looking for a high quality individual to join the sales team. As part of our team, your role will be to increase the sales of our products by identifying new business opportunities and generating the required sales from these opportunities. Part of this role will also involve generating technical sales proposals, project management, commissioning the sold systems and products - making the role varied, challenging but ultimately very rewarding. Occasional travel and overnight stays within South Africa and international travel will be required. An industry market with huge potential will make this a fantastic opportunity for you to develop your career with a world-class employer. 

    Your Profile

    • Tertiary education and skills in the electrical, instrumentation and automation field
    • 4 years practical industrial work in the field of automation or process control with an indepth knowledge of the industry
    • Knowledge of PLC’s and industrial network control systems will be an advantage
    • Experience in sales is advantageous but not essential.
    • Product training will be given
