    Electrical Engineering Intern

    Description

    The successful candidate will be provided with relevant workplace skills and experience to prepare the learner for the job market, the development and training areas will include but not limited to the below.

    • Work with Engineering teams on projects that are being implemented.
    • Performing research and analysis relevant to ongoing projects under the guidance of Electrical Engineering Manager.
    • Preparing project activity reports, presentations, and documentation.
    • Contributing ideas during team meetings aimed at improving the quality of project outcomes.
    • Conducting site visits for monitoring project progress and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
    • Work with maintenance teams to perform maintenance of electrical engineering equipment/systems.
    • Attend to breakdowns with guidance from qualified team members to learn fault finding techniques
    • Perform maintenance of protection schemes and related equipment, with the main objective of understanding power system protection philosophy
    • Conduct visual inspection on electrical infrastructure, which includes transformers, switchgears and all electrical installations in RBIDZ buildings.
    • Participate in field inspections, data collection, and analysis to support project planning and execution.
    • Contribute to the development of engineering specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
    • Adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in all engineering activities.

    Description

    Description

    Description

    • Identifying workplace exposures / hazards and risks 
    • Develop, implement and maintain H&S policies, procedures, specification and manual

    Monitoring and Evaluation Intern

    Description

    • The successful candidate will be provided with relevant workplace skills and experience in order to prepare for the job market. The development and training areas will include, but not limited to the below;
    • Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the RBIDZ Strategic Plan / Performance Information; 
    • Support the M&E Office & Manager in managing RBIDZ performance information, by: 
    • Analysing the Dashboard reports for alignment with the targets and objectives 
    • Compiling quarterly RBIDZ performance progress reports (actual performance). 
    • Execute all M&E activities and reporting 

    Provide support in: 

    • Executing the implementation of the performance monitoring plans. 
    • Implement and monitor the systems for gathering, reporting and analyzing performance information. Ensuring high quality of regular data collection, putting in place data quality control mechanisms

    Manage Internal Audit Function; 

    • Providing central point for auditors and the Units
    • Collating and Managing PoE documents from the Units
