    SAICA Articles Clerk - Hilton

    • Our client, a well-established accounting and audit firm in Hilton, is seeking a motivated and ambitious SAICA Articles Trainee to join their team and complete a SAICA training contract.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with external audit assignments and the preparation of audit working papers
    • Support the preparation of annual financial statements and management accounts
    • Assist with tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and income tax returns
    • Work closely with clients under the guidance of senior team members

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, coordinate, and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through to completion

    Technical Skills

    • Advanced Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Teams

    Bookkeeper - Pietermaritzburg

    • Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, journals, and trial balances
    • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
    • Oversee accounts payable and receivable, including supplier and customer reconciliations
    • Process payroll (leave) and ensure compliance with SARS, UIF, and PAYE regulations

    Tax Technician – Hilton

    • Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Technician who is eager to learn and develop within their accounting team.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare tax packs and ensure they reconcile to the signed-off Annual Financial Statements (AFS)
    • Capture information from the AFS and tax computations into tax returns using GreatSoft and SARS eFiling
    • Liaise with managers to obtain outstanding information and follow up with SARS on outstanding assessments and verification queries
    • Capture IT3(t) information accurately
