    Logistics Co-Ordinator

    The Role

    • The candidate has to be self-motivated and be able to work under pressure from the customer & suppliers.

    Excellent Communication Skills To Sub-ordinates & Management Is Essential.

    • Be able to endure long working hours based on customer / operational requirements.
    • Excellent time keeping and well disciplined

    Qualifications

    • Tertiary Education – Logistics related will be given preference
    • Matric or equivalent with a good technical background
    • At least 5 years in a similar function, including negotiating and technical skills
    • SAP experience will be an advantage
    • Microsoft office skills, advanced excel & powerpoint skills will be beneficia

    Duties

    • Fully responsible for the logistics of Steering wheel projects
    • Must be capable to do value stream mapping on global Logistics chain and make recommendations on improvements in cost reduction
    • Ensure that stock quantities are maintained at correct level
    • Ensure that product is delivered on time in full (OTIF) and in sequence to the customers
    • Ensure that internal logistics are running efficiently
    • Ensure that pre-kitting is done correctly and on time according to production requirements
    • Develop suppliers to work to SAP messages and deliver on time in predetermined quantities and packaging
    • Maintain and guarantee safe keeping of all records
    • Adhere to the company’s purchasing policy
    • Make recommendations for improvements, cost reductions or where new or alternative suppliers should be sourced
    • Monitor supplier & customer daily performance

    Process Quality Engineer

    Responsibilities

     

    • Formal core tools training
    • Ability to update FMEA, Control Plan & Works instructions
    • Ability to identify risks & lead actions plans for mitigation
    • Leads Root cause analysis investigations
    • Daily reporting
    • Ability to read, understand & apply customer specifications
    • SAP & LES (Logistics execution system) Experience essential
    • Able to conducts audits : Process / MPS / Dock / System.
    • At least 10 years’ experience in manufacturing processes
    • Technical process experience of 5 years minimum
    • Good understanding of process capability & measurement
    • Able to read and understand technical drawings
    • Understanding of programming & determination of process parameters
