Job Description

• We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Artwork Layout Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing and aesthetically pleasing layouts for a variety of print and digital materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the creative team to develop layouts for various print and digital materials
• Ensure all artwork aligns with brand guidelines and meets quality standards
• Prepare final files for production and/or digital distribution
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines
• Provide input and suggestions for improving layout processes and best practices
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design and layout

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
• Minimum of 3 or more years of experience working in a design or creative role
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and other design software
• Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout principles
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong communication and time management skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Knowledge of prepress and production processes
• Experience with motion graphics and/or video editing is a plus

• Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives
• Develop and implement layout strategies to meet project goals and deadlines
• Review and provide feedback on artwork layouts to ensure they meet brand guidelines and client expectations
• Train and mentor artwork layout artists to continuously improve their skills and efficiency
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure our team is delivering cutting-edge artwork layouts
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively
• Coordinate with production teams to ensure artwork layouts are smoothly transitioned into final deliverables

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in artwork layout design, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of print production processes and requirements
• A passion for art and design
