    Theatre Stock Controller

    Summary

    • The Theatre Stock Clerk is responsible for the daily stock control in the theatre and catheterisation lab. This includes control over consignment, aged, short dated, excess and obsolete stock The theatre stock clerk is responsible for monthly cyclical counts, receiving, unpacking, binning and bar coding of theatre stock. The theatre stock clerk will capture theatre charge sheets and consignment stock on a daily basis. The theatre stock clerk will assist the theatre stock controller in daily theatre related activities

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent NQF level 4 qualification
    • Intermediate computer skill
    • Theatre Stock system experience
    • Customer service orientated with high working standards
    • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills

    Work Experience

    • Two years experience in a similar position will be advantageous
    • Working experience in private healthcare or healthcare funding industry will be advantageous
    • Ability to adhere to principles and values at all time
    • Ability to presenting and communicating information

    Knowledge

    • Writing down of stock items to be ordered
    • Preparing of the pre-packs and preference packs for performing all procedures in the theatre complex
    • Controlling of stock in the theatre complex with special attention to expiry dates, formulary compliance and usage
    • Raising of the consignment stock purchase orders, obtaining invoices from the suppliers & ensuring control of consignment stock
    • Performing regular cycle counts in theatre and assist in full stock take processes
    • Management of positive and negative variances
    • Assisting in updating theatre stock lists
    • Liaise with company representatives, doctors and nursing staff in theatre
    • Related house-keeping tasks

    Registered Nurse -Bram Fischer

    Summary

    • The Registered Nurse will render and promote cost effective, safe quality patient care in accordance with hospital standards and policies. As a Professional Practitioner, the incumbent also is responsible for and is held accountable for his/her own acts and omissions.
    • The incumbent will further be responsible for direct and/or indirect nursing care of a patient or a group of patients, for assessing, planning, executing, and supervising the implementation of care to meet patient needs.

    Patient Services Manager

    Summary

    • The Patient Services Manager is responsible for the overall management of the Administration area. They will also be responsible for ensuring admissions and discharge of patients is done in a professional, friendly and timeous manner as well as creating and maintaining a goodwill with doctors and liaison with nursing staff regarding bed bookings.

    Requirements

    • A tertiary qualification in Administration or Office Management or related

    Ward Hostess x2
