    Medical Officer

    JOB SUMMARY

    • To serve as an advisor on health issues and disease control, provide medical support, discover inconsistencies and investigate problems. To diagnose, treat and manage physical  injuries and illnesses. The incumbent is responsible for providing patient centred, holistic care to patients at the facility.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Qualifications

    • MBCHB
    • Registration with HPCSA as a medical practitioner
    • A certificate qualification in any of the following BLS, ACLS, APLS or ATLS ill be an added advantage

     Minimum Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years`experience post community service
    • Psychiatric and rehabilitation centre exposure will be advantageous
    • Private healthcare experience will be advantageous

    DELIVERABLES

    • To oversee the patient’s diagnosis and treatment for rehabilitation, mental and physical ailments and injuries
    • Determine and prescribe the correct course of treatment
    • Research, enable and consult on opportunities to harness medical technology in the treatment of clients
    • Ensure safety of staff and patients by reporting safety hazards to management
    • Document and track cases assigned to portfolio
    • Utilise the approved platforms and reporting templates to document medical data and reports for patients
    • Give detailed reporting (informed by doctor-patient confidentiality best practice) to relevant medical or familial (to the patient) stakeholders
    • Develop and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive effective service delivery
    • Promote alignment by understanding and communicating departmental and customer needs and requirements throughout the hospital
    • Identify educational opportunities for clinical and allied professionals (related to holistic treatment of patients) and contribute to training plans
    • Maintain own CPD points required to maintain accreditation
    • Ensure all financial and contract documentation is maintained to support accurate record-keeping
    • Ensure accurate services provided to patients are documented and appropriately billed for
    • Drive adherence to statutory standards, policies and procedures within the business unit to ensure compliance at all times and take remedial action where necessary
    • Apply and maintain the risk management framework for the Business Unit
    • Administer and sign-off on appropriate documents according to Delegation of Authority and define SLAs in conjunction with other Departments, Functions and Suppliers

    Registered Nurse Medical Ward

    Job Summary:

    • The Registered Nurse will promote and deliver quality patient care and wellness in accordance with industry standards and to execute Nursing duties within the standards, procedures and protocols set down by the South African Nursing Council and Scope of Practice.

    REQUIREMENTS

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Diploma in General Nursing.
    • Registration with the South African Nursing Council.
    • BLS Qualification.

    Minimum Experience:

    • At least 2 year’s experience in Medical Ward is essential.
    • Experience within a private hospital environment is advantageous.

    Added Advantage:

    • BCur is advantageous.
    • Updated ACLS/PALS/ATLS advantageous.

    DELIVERABLES:

    • Perform nursing duties in accordance with the South African Nursing Council (SANC), Department of Health (DOH) and National Core standards.
    • Adhere to the principles and standards of patient advocacy according to the SANC Acts and Omissions, Company Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, Code of Conduct, Patient Rights and Responsibility Charter, National Millennium Development goals and the responsibility of continuous professional development (CPD).
    • Supervise, organise, lead and control quality of care work for self and team adhering to therapeutic standards and goals.
    • Actively participate in internal and external auditing processes, for example DOH, National Core Standards, SHERQ, SANC and Risk Audits.
    • Document and maintain accurate files and records of patient medication and conduct ward rounds including accompanying Doctors and other Medical Practitioners for creating and evaluating customized care plans including implementing.
    • Monitor activities of nurses to ensure compliance with protocols, security, safety of patient environment, Group Nursing policies and procedures, SANC requirements on findings through regular unit rounds.

    Driver

    Job Description

    • To take responsibility for the delivering and transportation of patients in a safe and timeous manner whilst abiding by all applicable rules and regulations governing patient transport.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent level of education essential.
    • Code 10 Driver's license and Valid PDP permit.
    • No infringements against driver's license/permit will be accepted.
    • Minimum 2 years' experience as a driver.

    Minimum Job Requirements:

    • Conduct the relevant pre-trip checks (inspection) on allocated vehicle daily and ensure that the vehicle confirms to the National Road and Traffic Act regulations.
    • Report any maintenance requirements to the Fleet Manager.
    • Maintain and complete daily log and inspection sheets.
    • Complete delivery of other resources and employees where necessary.
    • Prioritize job requests to optimize time and fuel efficiency.
    • Transport patients and customers safely and efficiently.
    • Park vehicle in secure Company facilities and ensure the vehicle is locked and put keys in a safe place.
    • Ensure over weekends or during public holidays that vehicles are filled up on the day before the start of such weekend or holiday.
    • Check daily that all equipment is functioning correctly.
    • Maintain the car by keeping it neat and clean.

    Call Centre Agent

    JOB SUMMARY

    • To receive inbound telephone calls in relation to customer services and needs. The incumbent is responsible for completing and ensuring relevant documents are accurate and kept up to date and in accordance with CHG’s quality and excellence standards.

    • Assigns call to appropriate dispatcher while being professional and courteous.
    • Take customer calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queriers and concerns.
    • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support.
    • Guide customers through troubleshooting, navigating through CHG products and services.
    • Receive and handle inbound calls from customers.
    • Complete relevant documentation as required and maintain an accurate record-keeping system.

    Laundry Driver
