    Job Description

    • Our client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Digital Workplace Services Specialist to join their global IT team, remotely.  This role is responsible for supporting and administering Microsoft 365 services while acting as the bridge between global IT strategy and local business implementation. The successful candidate will ensure reliable, secure, and efficient digital workplace services across multiple international regions.

    Responsibilities: 

    Microsoft 365 Administration: 

    • Provide first- and second-line support for Microsoft 365 services and applications.
    • Administer Microsoft 365 tenants, including user and licence management.

    Configure and maintain:

    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • OneDrive
    • Troubleshoot and resolve Microsoft 365-related issues.

    Digital Workplace Support: 

    • Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
    • Manage user access provisioning and permissions.
    • Monitor system performance, availability, and security.
    • Provide end-user training and guidance on Microsoft 365 tools and best practices.

    Collaboration and Global IT: 

    • Act as the liaison between Global IT strategy and local implementation.
    • Partner with EMEA and Americas business units to ensure successful solution delivery.
    • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to maintain secure configurations and minimise security risks.

    Compliance and Security: 
    Assist with implementing and maintaining:

    • Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
    • Retention Policies
    • Conditional Access
    • Support Mobile Device Management (MDM) using Microsoft Intune.
    • Assist with Microsoft Teams governance, including:
    • Naming conventions
    • Guest access
    • Lifecycle policies

    Automation and Documentation: 

    • Automate routine administrative tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Power Automate.
    • Document procedures, system configurations, and troubleshooting processes.
    • Contribute to the internal knowledge base.
    • Stay up to date with Microsoft 365 updates and emerging technologies.

    Project Support: 
    Participate in Microsoft 365 migration projects, including:

    • Mailbox migrations
    • SharePoint migrations
    • Tenant improvements

    Requirements: 

    • 5+ years' experience in an IT Support, Systems Administration or Digital Workplace role.
    • Strong experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
    • Experience administering:
    • Exchange Online
    • SharePoint Online
    • Microsoft Teams
    • OneDrive
    • Experience with Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) and identity management.
    • Strong PowerShell scripting skills.
    • Experience supporting Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Fluent in written and spoken English.
    • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
    • Self-motivated with excellent organisational and time management skills.

    Preferred Qualifications: 

    • Experience working within compliance or regulated environments across EMEA, APAC, or the UK.

    Microsoft Certifications such as:

    • MS-900
    • AZ-900
    • Or equivalent
    • Familiarity with ITIL practices.
    • Experience using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.
    • Exposure to Microsoft Defender for Office 365 or similar security platforms.
    • Additional language skills (Dutch, French or German) would be advantageous.
