    Collections Consultant

    • This role involves not only collecting money from clients, but also to focus on building strong relationships with clients, educating them on the importance of making regular payments while under debt review, to ensure they do not default on their payments.
    • The candidate must be highly energetic, efficient, motivated and ambitious as well as being prepared to commit to and grow with the business in the medium to long-term.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Proactive engagement and relationship building with our clients.
    • Calling clients prior to their first and second payments
    • Calling clients following a missed payment
    • Investigate historical data and arrears on rehab payments.
    • Resolve client queries relating to missed payments.
    • Educate clients by emphasizing the importance of making payments on time all the time.
    • Improve collections by calling client before payment comes back as an unpaid; if unpaid, try to reclaim money within 7 business days.

    Key Requirements/Competencies

    • Previous work experience in a collections environment or similar role (1 to 2 years preferable)
    • Relevant tertiary education
    • Understanding of the debt review process and the importance of making regular payments.
    • Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
    • Excellent negotiation skills
    • High level of attention to detail.
    • Problem solving skills – ability to think on your feet.

    Key Performance Areas (subject to change in the future):

    • Number of clients contacted on the diallers.
    • Payment ratios
    • Unpaid conversion ratios
    • How quickly a client makes up their payment

    Mid-Weight Designer

    • IDM is seeking an experienced, creative, and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a mid-weight Designer. The successful incumbent will play a crucial role in developing day-to-day creative work, producing visual aspects across brands, using ATL (Above-The-Line) and BTL (Below-The-Line) best practices, and working with the head designer to meet deliverables.
    • This position requires professionalism, excellent communication skills, a keen understanding of design practices; and the ability to collaborate effectively with various business units, when needed, including – and especially – the Creative Team. This role requires attention to detail from a person who can interpret a brief with a full understanding of the brand(s) in mind.  

    Key responsibilities and performance areas:

    • Design TTL (Through-The-Line) assets, based on various brand CIs.
    • Develop new concepts in alignment with business/brand goals
    • Maintain and update existing designs.
    • Create designs for social media platforms, apps, and marketing campaigns.
    • Illustrate strategic thinking as part of the design process.

    Communication:

    • Develop and maintain relationships with content/creative delivery partners within the team.
    • Collaboration is key.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues as needed.

    Compliance:

    • Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

    • Solid presentation, listening, and communication skills, including when engaging with colleagues.
    • Receptive to design critiques, while also able to present rationale for design choices confidently and respectfully.
    • Resourceful – able to problem-solve and find multiple design solutions, especially under narrow parameters or strict project timelines and budgets.
    • Ability to function well under pressure.
    • Photography and videography skills a plus.
    • Digital product design experience a plus.

    Requirements

    • Matric, with a relevant tertiary qualification in visual communication design, graphic design, or equivalent.
    • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
    • Experience as part of an advertising agency, and with the agile way of working, is a plus.
    • Experience using Asana as a project management system is advantageous.
    • Technical mastery: Proven, high-level proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, specifically Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX tools is a strong advantage.
    • Portfolio submission: A compelling digital portfolio link is required, which must demonstrate a clean design aesthetic, strategic problem-solving (not just execution), and consistent application of various brand CIs.
    • Must live IDM’s values.
    • Must be client-centric.
