    • The Cost Accountant will be responsible for tracking and allocating production costs, including raw materials, labor, and manufacturing overhead, while conducting variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs. Additionally, the role involves assisting in budgeting and forecasting to ensure accurate financial projections and cost control, supporting pricing decisions by analyzing product costs and profitability, and collaborating with operations and supply chain teams to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.

    Credit Underwriter

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage and mentor a team of credit underwriting analysts, ensuring efficient execution of credit assessments.
    • Lead financial analysis, limit & rating setting, and credit risk assessments for a global portfolio.
    • Oversee complex credit structures, asset valuations, and non-standard credit risks.
    • Ensure timely escalation of credit triggers and collaborate with stakeholders across regions.
    • Provide macro-economic analysis and sector insights relevant to the portfolio.
    • Support global credit risk reporting and cross-functional requirements.
    • Build strong relationships with senior management and commercial credit teams.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, risk management, economics, or a related field.
    • Postgraduate qualifications or certifications (CFA, CA, CIMA) beneficial.

    Experience & Skills:

    • Minimum 8 years of credit risk/underwriting experience (mining, commodities, banking, or consulting).
    • Strong financial analysis skills; coding in VBA, PowerBI, or Python is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
    • Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
