    Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Assistance:

    • Draft and post approved job advertisements across relevant platforms.
    • Conduct initial CV screening and filter applications against specific Job Specifications to generate high-quality candidate shortlists.
    • Coordinate, schedule and confirm interview panels between shortlisted candidates, Hiring Managers and the HR team.

    AssureCloud Microbiology Analyst, Cape Town

    Responsibilities:

    Performing Analysis

    • Conduct routine and complex microbiological tests independently.
    • Perform sample preparation, culturing, enumeration, and identification.
    • Perform troubleshooting of methods, equipment, and test deviations.
    • Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques and microbiological best practices.

    Verification of Results

    • Verify and interpret microbiological results against known standards and reference data.

    Technical Improvements

    • 1–3 years’ practical experience in a microbiology laboratory testing for E. coli, coliforms, Listeria, Salmonella, Staphylococcus aureus, yeast and mould.
    • Experience with classical microbiological methods: culturing, enumeration, isolation, identification.
    • Experience working within an ISO 17025 accredited environment.
    • Familiarity with microbiological equipment: incubators, autoclaves, biological safety cabinets, pH meters, colony counters.
    • Experience with LIMS and laboratory documentation practices.
    • Experience troubleshooting microbiological methods or contamination events.
