    Performance Analyst - P2

    The Role:

    • The Performance Analyst will be responsible for analysing operational and performance data within the Supply Chain and Logistics environment at the C4 Hub. The role requires strong analytical capability and problem-solving skills to identify operational risks, uncover improvement opportunities, and support leadership with data-driven insights that enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
    • The successful candidate will play a key role in reviewing operational performance, identifying trends, troubleshooting operational issues, and recommending practical solutions that support the organisation’s operational and financial objectives.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Performance Monitoring and Analysis
    • Review operational and performance data sources to identify potential risks to operational objectives and mission accomplishment.
    • Work closely with leadership to communicate insights and assist in mitigating identified risks.

    Field Service Technician - S3

    The Role

    • To deliver high-quality service and technical support to our customers, coach colleagues and customer personnel with the aim of reducing downtime on customer machine availability.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Conduct your work in compliance with safety regulations and company policies to promote a safe work environment.
    • Install, repair, inspect and commission Mobile and Stationary Crushing & Screening products and equipment at customer site or company premises.

    Your profile

    • Trade Certificate - Millwright
    • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Crushing & Screening equipment.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in:
    • Fault finding, electrohydraulic systems, auto electrical, hydraulics, PLCs, and remote-control systems.
    • Working in underground mining environments.
    • Physically and medically fit to work in a mining environment

    Workshop Planner - P2

    The Role:

    • We are looking for a proactive Workshop Planner to coordinate and schedule all rebuild and component jobs in our workshop. The role involves planning work orders, ensuring parts and materials are available, allocating resources, and supporting efficient workflow from start to finish. You will work closely with supervisors, technicians, and stores to keep jobs on track, ensure quality standards are met, and help drive continuous improvement. Strong organisational skills, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

    Key Performance Areas:

    Production Planning & Scheduling:

    • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules for the rebuilds of surface and underground mining machines.
    • Allocate resources (labour, parts, and materials) effectively to meet project deadlines.
    • Monitor workshop capacity and load requirements, adjusting plans as necessary.
    • Ensure all stages of the rebuild (disassembly, inspection, repair, reassembly, and testing) are accurately scheduled and tracked.

    Work Order Management:

    • Create, issue, and track WBS for all rebuild projects.
    • Coordinate with the workshop foreman and EQ administrators to ensure proper execution of work orders on EQ.
    • Maintain an up-to-date overview of all ongoing work orders, highlighting progress and potential bottlenecks.

    Workshop Coordination:

    • Coordinate with Workshop Foremen and EQ administrators to align repair schedules, track parts availability, and maintain a detailed workshop plan for machine rebuilds.
    • Implement effective resource planning and allocation strategies to minimize downtime and optimize productivity across all bays.
    • Prepare detailed machine rebuild plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and budget allocations.
    • Review daily workshop progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet project milestones.
    • Scheduling planned activities into job cards from the Master project plan.

    Supplier & Vendor Coordination:

    • Liaise with external suppliers and service providers to ensure timely delivery of parts and components required for rebuilds.
    • Track components sent to vendors for repairs, ensuring adherence to agreed turnaround times.
    • Expedite orders as necessary to prevent delays in rebuild schedules.

    Inventory & Parts Management:

    • Work closely with the stores and inventory teams to ensure adequate stock levels for rebuild projects.
    • Identify critical parts requirements in advance and plan accordingly to avoid production interruptions.
    • Monitor the status of all parts throughout the rebuild process, ensuring accurate documentation and traceability.

    Data Management & Reporting:

    • Maintain detailed records of rebuild projects, including schedules, cost estimates, parts tracking, and progress updates.
    • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly status reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and areas for improvement.

    Backorder management:

    • Conduct Arrivals, progress and customer reports
    • SMART mate upload, interface with all projects on RTV and configuration to site
    • Plan the fluids analysis of all the RTV machines and control the reports on data books
    • Scheduling of the plan activities on the job cards for the foreman to executes within prescribed timeframe
    • Report all machines progress MS projects plans and milestones updates
    • Daily review and resolution of outstanding orders by changing source, where it is linked to Purchase Order or Distribution Requirement Planning or where an order needs to be placed.
    • Weekly review of “Hold till complete” orders, where inventory has become available or where new Purchase Order or Distribution Requirement Planning must be created.
    • Logistics Process and Support (LPS).
    • Review and resolve LPS tickets relating to expediting of orders, shipment discrepancy etc. daily.
    • Able to implement all the WCM process steps in own work area.
    • Able to evaluate all the information and clues before making a decision.
    • Can develop alternative strategies to handle changes/situations in own working area.
    • Can re-concentrate own ideas / tactics when confronted with new Information
    • Is pro-active to a certain degree and anticipates problems before they arise.
    • Deals not only with the symptoms of a problem but searches in a creative manner for underlying reasons for the cause of the problem.
    • The ability to plan a task or job realistically, allocating time to priorities and building in time for contingencies.
    • The ability to organise resources and effectively delegate tasks to maintenance teams
    • Review Unit Down Orders and expedite accordingly daily.
    • Daily resolution of Sales orders that did not generate a Purchase Orders in System 21.
    • Quarterly review and maintenance of Customer Masters.
    • Weekly communication to internal/external customers regarding progress on all open orders.
    • Scheduling planned activities into job cards from Master project plan

    Your Profile:

    • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
    • Diploma/ Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or industrial Engineering .
    • 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar position in a Workshop Planning or in engineering role
    • Experience in managing internal and/or external customers and scheduling activities on MS projects or Premevira advantageous
    • Knowledge of workshop and engineering tools will be an advantage.
    • Experience in Maintenance Planning will be an advantage.
    • Able to supervise the correct implementation and utilisation of administrative procedures.
    • Understands how to interpret management information relevant to own work area.
    • Able to use initiative to solve WCM process problems when they occur during implementation.
    • Ability to detail progress report with clear statuses on the machines rebuild progress using graphs and projects plans.
    • Can set controls over arrangements and follow up in own work area.
    • Must be able to function within a team environment.

    Workshop Foreman CM - M1

    The Role:

    • The Workshop Foreman position seeks an ideal candidate with proficiency in the manufacturing or rebuild process for continuous miners, along with experience in other underground mining equipment. Specializing in the repair and maintenance of continuous miners used in underground mining operations is crucial. This role carries the primary responsibility of overseeing the operational functionality of the workshop. Key objectives include ensuring the designated production area meets predefined goals related to safety, quality outcomes, production volume, staffing levels, and on-time delivery.

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Responsible for the employees, machines, and methods.
    • Responsible for reaching tactical targets.
    • Ensure staff competence and that work is done according to the agreed procedures and routines.
    • Lead and distributes work in the production area.
    • Responsible for personnel in areas such as rehabilitation and workforce planning, ensures compliance with all employment, health, and safety laws.
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the assembly team. Monitor and analyse team performance against set KPIs.
    • Responsible for all machinery and equipment in the production area.
    • Responsible for the development of a yearly budget, ongoing expense tracking and cost saving initiatives.
    • Actively work with culture change - attitudes, commitments and behaviours of individuals and groups.
    • Responsible for specifying requirements on support functions as well as initiating and following up on improvement projects.
    • Monitor and enforce adherence to quality standards and ensure that products meet customer specifications and expectations.
    • Initiate improvement projects, including the implementation and maintenance of 5S principles for workplace organization.
    • Prepare regular reports for management on productivity, quality, and other relevant metrics.

    Profile Required:

    • Technical qualification - Trade certificate or tertiary Diploma.
    • 3-5 years' experience in a Foreman or supervisory role within a machine assembly or Workshop environment.
    • Experience in implementing and maintaining quality control measures in assembly operations.
    • Product knowledge on flameproof equipment.
    • Proven technical troubleshooting experience.
    • Demonstrated experience in root cause analysis.
    • Excellent communication skills.
