- Represent Heineken Beverages as the BBBEE Skills Development Facilitator on Industry Bodies (Food&Bev, QCTO and other SETAs) by liaising with Government Bodies such as the Department of Labour and managing industry initiatives and SETA funding opportunities and programs to ensure that the maximum recoverable grants and levies are achieved from the SETA.
- Manage the implementation of learnerships, internships, apprenticeships and skills development programs based on business and talent requirements and make recommendations relating to the facilitators, assessors and moderators (i.e. Quality Assurance as per QCTO requirements).
- Coordinate and manage the Skills Development Committee through upskilling members on the Skills Development Committee on their role to direct the skills development process to ensure consultation on training related matters
- Track and report on SETA related funding by monitoring training spend, reporting on skills development aspects for BBBEE reporting, reporting on progress of learnerships, internships, apprenticeships and skills development programs to ensure efficient business operation and reporting.
- Enable and drive BBBEE compliance through ensuring awareness with internal stakeholders on Skills Development requirements ensuring that selected vendors and learning initiatives contribute positively to BBBEE targets and highlight ant pitential risks inclufing reporting to relevant forums on progress and plans to achieve agreed targets to ensure that Heineken Beverages achieves the transformation target.
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Human Resources or Industrial Psychology
- 5 years’ experience as BBBEE and EE Skills Development Facilitator
- Extensive experience in Project Management
- Demonstrated experience in Learning and development related activities.
- Demonstrated experience in working with the SETAs, QCTO, DHET and BBBEE agencies
- Experience in Skills Development Programmes (Learnerships, Apprenticeships, Internships, Skills Programs, Skills Levies & SETA functions)
- Knowledge and understanding of the NQF, SAQA and SDA
- Be able to adapt Skills Development amendments in the business, and educate the business/stakeholders on the impact thereof.
- Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
- Good relationship building and interpersonal skills.
- Good business acumen
- Strong co-ordination and organisation skills
- Ability to collect, gather, and analyse data and present concise actionable results.
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Office 365, and SharePoint
- Experience on SuccessFactors, SAP and COUPA would be advantageous
