    HR Assistant - VKB Milling, Mokopane

    Job Description

    • The ideal team player will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support across all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, training, employee data management, time and attendance, and general HR administration.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12
    • A higher certificate in HR (NQF 5) will serve as an advantage
    • Basic Knowledge of Time and Attendance management
    • Basic knowledge of File Director will serve as an advantage

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Scan and shred old filing and capture files on FD when required.
    • Assist in Job description standardization project
    • Assist with recording movements and terminations on File Director
    • Do monthly checklist on new appointments documents-ensure that all documents are submitted on time
    • Capture all training for Mokopane, LTT, Lydenburg and Vhembe
    • Record all training invoices and POPs
    • Submit training transactions spreadsheet to the skills development administrator
    • Check weekly PRP (time and attendance) timesheets
    • Complete the Qualification spreadsheet for all Limpopo milling employees
    • Assist with recording all certificates and qualifications on File Director.

    Skills Required

    Electrician - VKB Milling, Modderrivier

    Job Description

    • Responsible for performing skilled work in the installation, maintenance, repair, testing and commissioning of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, wiring, fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment. May also work on electrical transmission and distribution equipment and perform other related work as required.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
    • Wireman’s Licence.
    • A valid Trade Certificate as an Electrician or Millwright.
    • At least 3 years electrical experience in maintenance as a qualified Electrician.
    • Experience in high and low voltage connections.
    • PLC & VSD experience and ability to read electrical plans.
    • FMCG Experience will be an added advantage.
    • Programming of PLC and related electronics.
    • CB – Code B driver’s license.
    • Must be able and willing to work overtime including shifts when required.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Reduce breakdowns and downtimes periods in the plant to limit unnecessary costs.
    • Ensure preventative scheduled maintenance are done as scheduled according to company procedures and standards.
    • Work with management to ensure all machinery and infrastructure function electrically optimal on a continuous basis.
    • Ensure the workshop comply with occupational health and safety requirements.
    • Do fault finding and problem solving on electrical equipment.
    • Reduce breakdowns and downtime periods.
    • Solving of electrical problems from operational manager as specified in the job card.
    • Keep informed on newest electrical technology with regards to better functioning, energy saving and safety.
    • Complete all compulsory training interventions allocated by the direct Manager successfully.
    • Daily housekeeping.

    • Any other duties as may be required by management.

    Job Description

    • As a Cost Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the cost accounting functions and leading a team of assistant accountants and inventory controllers.
    • This involves 3 sites:  Mokopane, Lydenburg and Louis Trichardt. 

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Professional accounting certification (e.g. CIMA) preferred.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Valid Drivers licence and own vehicle.
    • The 3 sites have to be visited frequently and is a requirement of the position.
