Role Purpose

The Manager: Systems and MI Reporting role is based within Finance.

Collections Systems Manager is to in this role, develop, implement, facilitate and manage the short and long-term Technology and Collections Strategy for Subscriber Collections and Corporate Credit. To ensure that collection strategies are designed, developed, SIT/UAT and reported on to track and monitor the success of these strategies. To enhance the systems and automated collection strategies. Responsible for end-to-end system architecture in Subscriber Collections and Corporate Credit through leadership, strategic guidance and direction setting.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Manage Debt Collections system and strategy, Dialler System and the IVR system in Subscriber Collections and Corporate Credit.
• Manage and maintain the system integration and integrated systems between all systems in Subscriber Collections and Corporate Credit.
• Manage Vendors and Business Partners and sign off all system upgrades, system updates and patches and also ensuring regular system maintenance without impacting business up-time.
• Manage the Capex budget for requirements in Collections
• Manage the Churn and Bad Debt movement and reporting.
• Manage the business analysis and design activities in assessing requirements in terms of feasibility, impact and cost, and in assisting to create and compile accurate user requirement documents.
• Act a subject matter expert and provide technical input into system definition and design activities and facilitate the delivery of value added solutions.
• To research / investigate current industry trends and standards in terms of technologies deployed / planned to be deployed and how that can enhance / optimise systems.
• To act as subject matter expert between business and the technical teams and to ensure the required support from all areas to ensure delivery of quality solutions.
• To research, define and maintain industry best practices within the Systems Division with respect to the above and other delivery processes;
• To maintain, re-evaluate, optimise or automate existing business processes;
• Manage the quality assurance across business analysis documentation, vendor documentation, proposals, technical designs, test documentation and operational handover documentation
• To communicate effectively and maintain sound relationships at the relevant levels within the Company and all other Commercial teams within Vodacom in accordance with agreed strategies with Line Management.

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have

• Matric (Grade 12) – essential
• Minimum Of 10 Years Systems Experience In Tallyman
• Minimum of 5 years integration design
• Experience in Tallyman collections strategy design
• Experience in business analysis and reporting
• Relevant IT Degree/ 3 years relevant IT qualification (essential)

Minimum Of 5 Years Systems Experience In Tallyman

• Minimum of 2 years integration design
• Experience in Tallyman collections strategy design
• Experience in business analysis and reporting
• Deep quantitative analytical skills
• Customer data skills, i.e. understanding of customer data marts, etc.
• Campaign management systems, optimisation technology and process

CRM operations – understanding of data and decisioning

• BI Technologies and Integration Technologies (Pandora, Automic, SFG, etc)
• Robotic Process Automation
• knowledge of Collections call centre systems (Debt Collection systems; Dialler, IVR design)
• Maintain data warehouse database and Datastage application.
• Develop and deliver ad hoc and operational reporting/ survey requirements.
• Design, facilitate, manage and implement business intelligence solutions / project / technologies.
• Conduct R & D to ensure best of breed principals are applied

Role Purpose

The Specialist: Systems Administrator role is based within Finance.
To ensure that user requirements for the business are documented, developed and delivered on. To ensure that new collection strategies are designed, developed and reported on To track and monitor the success of new collection strategies. To enhance and monitor the automated collection strategies and integration layers.

The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
