    Junior Public Relations Co-ordinator

    Introduction

    • To provide reliable, consistent, and efficient support across the PR team, ensuring smooth operations, effective campaign execution, and accurate reporting. This role is administrative in nature, enabling the PR Managers to focus on strategy, stakeholder engagement, and creative leadership. This is a junior level position based at the Head Office in Cape Town City Centre.

    Job description
    Campaign & Project Support

    • Support the delivery of PR campaigns (including events) across Foods, Fashion, Beauty, Homeware, Special Occasions, Loyalty, and New Stores.
    • Manage campaign logistics: sample requests, tracking, couriering, financial admin and returns for media and influencers.
    • Maintain media lists, influencer databases, and campaign contact sheets.
    • Collate coverage for monthly PR reports, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
    • Assist with drafting and distributing press materials (e.g. media alerts, fact sheets, event information). 

    Administration and Operations

    • Support budgeting processes by ensuring invoices are processed timeously and tracked correctly.
    • Manage bookings and assist with logistics for events and media engagements.
    • Manage press pack and press portal co-ordination, ensuring content is up to date, accessible, and meets deadlines.
    • Manage contact lists and team documentation.
    • Assist with briefing forms and submission to the creative agency.
    • Manage PR Showroom and in -store sourcing media requests.
    • Support the facilitation of media and influencer seeding.

    Events & Activations

    • Provide logistical support for events: e.g. product transport to and from venues, RSVP management, printing, deliveries, transport bookings, etc.
    • Assist with PIRs (Post Implementation Reviews) by collating feedback.

    Stakeholder Engagement Support

    • Co-ordinate and respond to basic queries from media, influencers, and internal stakeholders.
    • Liaise with buying teams, brand managers, and agencies for information requests.
    • Act as a first-level point of contact for sample requests, image requests, and media pack requirements.

    Guardrails (Scope of Responsibility)

    • Not responsible for strategy development — may contribute ideas in brainstorms but will not lead or set direction.
    • Budget ownership — role is limited to invoice processing, budget tracking and recon support.
    • No external spokesperson duties — media engagement limited to logistics and sample/image fulfilment, not brand positioning or strategic relationship building.
    • Executional support for campaigns under manager guidance.
    • Liaison with external agency for sample coordination or information requests, but accountability and management of agency sits with senior team.

    Minimum requirements

    • Relevant PR, Communications, Marketing or Media degree/diploma.
    • 0–1 years’ experience in PR, communications, or media (internship experience acceptable).
    • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
    • Basic understanding of media and social media platforms.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
    • Good interpersonal skills and a team-player.

    Buyer's Assistant : Apparel

    Introduction

    • We are looking for a detail-oriented and organised Buyer’s Assistant to support our Buying team with product administration, sample management and preparation for key reviews and trade meetings. This role requires strong coordination, attention to detail and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.

    Job description
    Administration & System Management

    • Maintain and update PLM with accurate product data (e.g. images, colourways, packaging).
    • Integrate items from PLM to RMS and notify Sourcing Specialist or SPA.
    • Upload product photography and detail for approved bodies in PLM.
    • Create and complete select sets for in-store shoots; update based on weekly Quad meeting feedback.
    • Liaise with E-comm, Marketing, and Selling teams regarding product lates, earlies, and substitutions.
    • Prepare price change documentation for approval and update cost/selling prices in RMS.
    • Assist with weekly trade preparation and share item reports.
    • Coordinate store visits, model stores, and roadshow communication.
    • Support in-store processes by preparing sample rails in line with assortment plans.

    Review Preparation

    • Work with the Sourcing & Production Assistant to ensure samples are available for reviews.
    • Prepare flow boards and presentation boards for Buying and Design teams.
    • Set up review rooms (tidy layout, labels by month/store grade, and assist with review gridding and minute-taking).

    Sample Management

    • Organise and track samples from lab dips to production.
    • Collaborate with TPD, Buying, and Sourcing on approvals for lab dips/strike-offs and sign-offs.
    • Ensure sample availability for fit reviews and marketing deadlines.
    • Coordinate samples with Online, Marketing, and Visual Merchandising teams.
    • Manage sample rails to reflect product development stages.
    • Prepare samples for trade, shoots, post-seasonal reviews, and the sample shop.
    • Use production status, supplier updates, and trade feedback to inform product planning.

    Minimum requirements

    • Relevant tertiary qualification.
    • Minimum 2 years of admin experience in a retail/clothing environment.
    • Experience in a similar buying support role is advantageous.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office (intermediate level).
    • Knowledge of PLM and RMS systems is an advantage.
    • Strong understanding of retail procurement and product lifecycle processes.
    • Familiar with sample management from lab dips to final production.
    • Awareness of product review preparation and presentation techniques.
    • Knowledge of creating and completing select sets for instore shoots and product solutions based on instructions.
    • Excellent communication and organisational skills for stakeholder engagement.

    Test Manager

    Introduction

    • Overall responsibility for the success of Quality Assurance, through ensuring quality planning, resource planning, resolution and management of issues.

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    • Post IT Graduate Qualification advantageous
    • 5-8 years’ experience in a Test Lead or Test Management Role
    • ISEB / ISTQB Advance Test Manager certification required
    • ISTQB Expert Test Manager Certification advantageous
    • Experience in defining and executing organization Test Policy and Test Strategy
    • Experience in Test Planning, Test Reporting, Progress Monitoring and Quality Gates measurement
    • Other work-related info e.g. shift work
    • Solid Experience in working with OpenText ALM (Formally known as Quality Centre)
