Support & Development of Lecturers on campus
- Design of the lecturer development process through the following:
- Analyse LMS analytics and facilitate feedback to lecturers.

Overall Purpose of the Job
- The Automation Test Engineer will undertake manual testing as well as design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of applications for ADvTECH IT’s Quality Assurance team. Responsible for conducting end-to-end testing of critical business processes across HR systems, Finance systems, and Educational systems (both Schools and Tertiary)
Test Planning
- Constructs comprehensive test plans outlining scope, objectives, resources, schedule, and activities ensuring systematic coverage of all testing aspects
- Determines the schedule and sequence of testing activities, coordinates with interfacing applications regarding timelines and commitments
- Obtains approval from stakeholders prior to execution
- Builds and maintains automation frameworks using Visual Studio, Playwright, and C# for web application testing
Testing & Reporting
- Executes and records manual and functional tests, analysing results and reporting on findings, issues and risks. Uses Azure DevOps for test case management, defect tracking, and CI/CD integration
- Designs, develops, and executes automated test scripts for functional, performance, and regression testing of web and mobile applications
- Defines and maintains test standards and quality assurance tasks
- Performs API and integration testing using Postman, REST Assured, and SQL to ensure system interoperability and data integrity
- Executes mobile testing on Android platforms using Appium
- Performs database testing to validate data consistency and accuracy using SQL.
- Identifies, analyzes, and documenting bugs or defects in software code
- Gathers QA metrics on all projects including defect rates and root cause analysis
- Maintains records of test executions and outcomes, reports test progress, results, and issues using clear, actionable documentation for stakeholders
Stakeholder/ Customer Relations
- Collaborates with stakeholders to align testing with business requirements and objectives
- Co-ordinates inputs from the relevant stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve key issues and ensure alignment with the Group IT strategy
- Collaborates with stakeholders in developing solutions to ensure that there is buy in and acceptance.

- The role reports to and support the Group Company Secretary & Head of Legal.
- A Senior Legal Advisor with corporate and compliance experience. Responsibilities will typically include providing legal advice and support to the company, with specific focus on ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- The role requires a strong understanding of corporate law, regulatory frameworks, and risk management principles.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing general Legal Advice
- Legal Risk Management associated with the company’s operations and transactions, including the updating of the Group’s Business Risk Registers with the respective Risk Owners on a quarterly basis
- Legislative Compliance Management – responsible for implementing compliance frameworks, monitoring compliance by and advising the company in relation to all applicable laws (including POPI and PAIA), regulations and internal policies
- Assist with the formulation and drafting of internal policy documents to ensure they comply with relevant statutory and/or legal requirements
- Chairing internal disciplinary appeal hearings
- Commercial Contracting including the drafting, reviewing, and negotiating of various legal agreements
- Manage litigation matters
- Participate in various projects identified by the department
- Dispute Resolution
- Stakeholder Management that includes collaborating with internal stakeholders, external legal counsel, and regulatory bodies
- Management of the group’s IP (including trademarks and other IP related matters)
- Ad hoc company secretarial support as may be required
Experience required:
- 5+ years of relevant experience as an in-house legal counsel in a corporate and/or reputable law firm
- Strong knowledge of corporate law principles and compliance
- In depth knowledge of relevant South African laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Companies Act, Protection of Personal Information Act, Promotion of Access to Information Act
Qualifications:
- LLB Degree
- Admitted attorney with 5+ years post articles experience
- A post graduate certificate / degree in compliance management will be advantageous
