    Business Development Manager (Western Limb)

    • Our Client, who is a leading manufacturer of underground mining equipment, has an immediate vacancy for a Business Development Manager, based in Johannesburg. 
    • The incumbent must possess strong technical, sales and marketing skills and must be knowledgeable in the applicable areas of underground mining and specifically mechanized mining equipment and related systems.
    • The position requires an individual with good business acumen who is able to work independently.
    • Sound communication and presentation skills are important, as are developing and maintaining healthy professional relationships with the various stakeholders, which are crucial to the success of this position.
    • Other commercial and administrative functions will form part of the duties and the employee must be fully conversant with all related functions.

    Draughtsman

    • Our client in the mining sector is seeking a DRAUGHTSMAN to join their team in Alberton, Gauteng.
    • The Draughtsman will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and technical manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks to support the engineering and production teams. The role focuses on the design and detailing of components and assemblies used in underground mechanized mining equipment.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop 3D models, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks in compliance with company standards.

    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and legal requirements regarding explosives handling and blasting operations.
    • Monitor and optimize blast performance, including fragmentation analysis and vibration monitoring.
    • Maintain accurate records of explosives usage, blast patterns, and associated documentation for audits and regulatory purposes.
    • Control budgets and ensure cost-effective resource utilization.
    • Represent the company in site meetings and report progress against agreed targets.
