    Practice Manager: Intercare Mbombela Medical & Dental Centre

    Role Description
    CRITICAL OUTPUTS

    • Build and manage relationships between the Health Professionals and the Company.
    • Ensure the implementation of processes is conducive to customer satisfaction.
    • Identify improvement areas and implement initiatives to ensure continued levels of customer service.
    • Ensure sound operational practices aligned with the operating model of the Organisation.
    • Demonstrate overall management of all activities and services in the branch in accordance to relevant legislation and the Company’s policies and procedures.

    Role Description

    • Intercare Kyalami Medical and Dental Centre situated in Midrand seeks to recruit a Dental Coordinator.

    Role Description
    CRITICAL OUTPUTS

    • Assisting the Medical Practitioner in the pre-screening, treatment and care of patients
    • Assist Medical Reception in the prioritizing of medical emergencies.

    • The focus of this position is to assist dental professionals engaged in performing general and/or specialist dentistry and other dental procedures, as well as facilitating the patient administration process.

    CRITICAL OUTPUT

    • Work within the realms of the scope of practice and knowledge base in relation to current trends and advances to maintain competency level.
    • Takes personal accountability for decisions made and actions taken and/or omissions in the course of care delivery.
    • Ensure the dental room is hygienically acceptable and that sterilization and infection control protocols are adhered to with regards to instruments and equipment.

    • Knowledge of the principles, practices, and procedures of general dentistry as applied to assisting a dentist in the treatment and care of patients.
    • Advanced knowledge of dental terminology.

    Role Description

    • The purpose of the role is to coordinate and facilitate housekeeping services within the facility and ensure safe, effective decontamination, sterilisation, storage and distribution of reusable medical and dental instruments and equipment.

    CRITICAL OUTPUTS

    • Deliver professional, friendly customer service to patients, visitors and healthcare professionals, ensuring a positive facility experience.
    • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of public areas, kitchens, fridges and refreshment facilities to required standards.
    • Manage linen processes including washing, drying, folding and supporting stock control of hygiene consumables.

    Role Description
    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide efficient, friendly and professional telephone services in patient care.
    • Assist patients in accurately completing appropriate forms, and document all information in accordance to internal policies and procedures.
    • Responsible for all processes related to the reception-patient journey, e.g. booking, arrival and payment of patient on the relevant system.
