    Team Leader: Accounts Payable

    Purpose Statement

    • To lead a team of Accounts Payable clerks to optimise the capacity, efficiency and effectiveness of creditor payments and the Financial Accounting department.

    Experience
    Minimum:

    • At least 2-3 years’ experience within a financial accounting environment which includes:
    • 2 - 3 years Accounts Payable Experience
    • General ledger reconciliation
    • The purchasing cycle and creditor reconciliations

    Ideal:

    • At least one year's experience of leading or supervising a small team of people (4 - 12 people)
    • Practical experience of SAP finance management system  
    • Experience of holding responsibility for an accounts payable function and associated practices and procedures
    • Business report writing
    • Experience gained in a banking or retail environment.

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting - Financial Accounting or Finance

    SAP Systems Analyst: HCM

    Role Overview:

    • As a SAP Analyst specializing in payroll implementation, you will play a pivotal role in configuring, testing, and supporting SAP Payroll solutions throughout the full project lifecycle. Your responsibilities will include managing payroll system configurations, navigating changes in legislation, and contributing to migration projects to ensure a seamless transition to new payroll systems.

    Experience

    • 5-7 years’ experience in SAP HCM Systems design, analysis, configuration and implementation
    • Ensure the stability, reliability, and comprehensive functionality of the Payroll and Time management systems.
    • Collaborate with the Payroll team to conduct SIT testing for tax updates, patches, bundles, and upgrades.
    • Offer operational support to end users in utilizing SAP EC Payroll, ensuring a smooth user experience.
    • Diagnose and resolve technical Payroll issues efficiently.
    • Perform regular maintenance on the SAP Payroll system to ensure compliance, optimize efficiencies, and keep software up-to-date.
    • Stay informed about Payroll Legislation changes to maintain compliance.
    • Proficiently configure EC data models, workflows, MDF Alerts & business rules, Benefits, Time off, and Document templates.
    • Handle new setups such as Wage Type configuration.
    • Oversee Employee Central Payroll setup, including system setup, data replication, Payment configuration, and LSMWs for data loads.
    • Establish validation rules in the Payroll Control Centre.
    • Possess a solid understanding of system implementation, integration, and IT dependencies.
    • Familiarity with Role-based Permissions.

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    Business Manager

    Purpose Statement

    • To provide a proactive business banking sales and service management function that will retain and grow a portfolio of business clients by identifying and implementing value adding and specialised business banking financial products solutions from a range of standard and/or customized offerings.

    Experience
    Minimum:

    • Banking experience of at least 5 years, of which 3 years should have been spent in the Business Banking environment.
    • Experience of managing a complex portfolio of business customers with a service and financial analysis focus.
    • Significant experience in preparing and motivating Credit applications 
    • Cost control and sales management 

    Ideal:

    • 1-2 years managerial /leadership experience
    • 1-2 years managing a small business centre

    • Able to extract, analyse and apply CRM insights to influence the client management approach and strategy 
    • General understanding of how Business Banking operates, as well as understanding the business risks, industry risks and financial requirements pertaining to the business market
