    Supervisor - Direct Marketing Soweto (Gauteng)

    Description

    • Select, build, lead, manage, motivate and reward a sales team in order to make sure that they consistently achieve and exceed the targets of their key performance areas while operating within the framework of the business values.

    Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:

    • Ensure premium income targets are achieved and exceeded.
    • Deliver world-class quality sales in alignment with Regulatory standards.
    • Ensure that lapse ratios are reduced.
    • Maintain operational protocols to ensure compliance.
    • Ensure that his/her team make fully compliant sales that convert and persist.
    • Ensure that the team displays the correct sales behaviour by following the scripts.
    • Listen to at least 2 calls per telemarketer per week to ensure compliance.
    • Handle both inbound & outbound calls, which are predominantly routine, but may require deviation from standard screens, scripts, and procedures.
    • Ensure team discipline and uphold company values
    • Handle customer service inquiries and problems
    • Coach and develop team.
    • Investigate and compile reports on fraudulent cases/non-compliance issues.
    • Ensure that the submitted business is processed
    • Deal with elevated queries and problems

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Grade 12
    • Must have RE 5 qualification – essential

    Knowledge and Experience 

    • 18 months telemarketing operations experience – essential
    • 12 months management/leadership experience – advantage
    • Proficient in English – essential (writing, reading, speaking)
    • Must be able to speak 3 official languages – advantage
    • Computer knowledge – MS Office, especially Excel – essential

    Requirements

    • A  suitable  industry  entry  qualification  within  the  requirements  of  the  Financial  Services  Board
    • Comply with FAIS legislation for registration as Fit and Proper individuals:
    • Applicants who entered the industry as follows:
    • From years 2004 – 2007 requires 30 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2009.
    • From years 2008 - 2009 requires 30 credits or 60 credits on NQF 4 obtained by 31 December 2011 or full FAIS recognised qualification obtained by 31 December 2013
    • All those appointed in the industry from the year 2010 onwards require a full FAIS recognised qualification
    • Clear ITC
    • Clear criminal record
    • RE5  certificate
    • RE1  will  be  an  advantage
    • Drivers’  license,  own  reliable  transport  and  cell  phone

    Quality Assurance Officer - Direct Marketing Soweto (Gauteng)

    Description

    Train, Monitor and Coach Personnel

    • Train telemarketers on the basic rules for Direct Marketers before they commence work.
    • Explain quality assurance process to them in detail
    • Identify areas of improvement or concern and make recommendations 
    • To ensure that telemarketers are compliant at all times by following the sales script.
    • Offer them assistance with their sales pitch if needed
    • To identify sales pitch problems, lack of product knowledge, non-compliance, lack of soft skills during these calls Identify areas of repeated misconduct and non-compliance
    • Forward feedback to Manager for action to be taken or to identify training needs.
    • Evaluate outcome of each call

    Conduct after sale service survey

    • To call clients that have been contacted by telemarketers, follow the script provided and document the outcome on spreadsheet provided.
    • To keep detailed daily statistics on the outcome of the survey calls made.
    • Ask for referrals during all these calls.
    • Assist in retaining our business and handling of customer queries should the need arise.

    Monitor systems

    • Track defects, test results or other regularly reported quality control data
    • Conduct systems testing within direct marketing within the time frame provided
    • Identify problems such as one-way recording, cross recording and blank scripts
    • Identify and outline system problems, inform the system administrator and Manager

    Statistics and Reporting

    • To keep detailed daily statistics on all problems identified during calls and to e-mail them to the team leader in the report format agreed upon.
    • To compile monthly quality assurance report from daily statistics and to e-mail to the team leader within time frames given.
    • To compile monthly survey report from the daily statistics and to e-mail to the team leader within the time frames given.
    • Provide management with monthly reports
    • Report major problems and deviations will be reported to senior management

    Requirements

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Grade 12 
    • Fit and Proper Accreditation as per FAIS requirements

    Knowledge and Experience

    • 4 year experience in call centre, sales environment
    • Knowledge in Long-term insurance
