    Sales Assistant - 657 - BRB Cape Town

    Key Responsibilities

    • Bread Sales.
    • Loading and off-loading of bread.
    • Monitoring of stock.
    • Products picked according to invoice.
    • Shelves packed according to SOP.
    • Quality of bread is checked - no damaged bread is delivered to customers, damaged bread separated as procedure.
    • Damaged crates are separated as per procedure.
    • Damaged items are reported to Salesman Driver.
    • Ensure crates are returned daily according to SOP.
    • Ensure proper product handling to reduce returns and damages.
    • Customer communication is enforced to ensure correct ordering and management of crates at customer.
    • Safe working practices.

    Qualification Requirements

    • Grade 12 (with Maths being advantageous for career development) - Essential

    Experience Requirements

    • Valid code C1 license & PDP – Essential
    • At least 1 years’ experience in a similar position in the FMCG industry with emphasis on customer service FMCG background and sound knowledge of bread - Desirable

    Other Requirements

    • Pressurized environment
    • 6-day position.
    • Required to work weekends and public holidays as per roster.
    • Required to work shifts and overtime.
    • Required to work with heavy products/equipment – physical strength.

    Quality Control And Assurance Intern

    Job Description

    What you will be doing?

    Gaining practical exposure and experience in our Milling QC/QA processes by doing the following:

    • Laboratory and Online Quality Control
    • Reporting Food safety & quality control deviations.
    • Testing of raw material, in-process, and final products prior to approval.
    • Active participation in INVOCOMS.
    • Support of the food safety culture plan on site
    • Test baking of premix products prior to approval.
    • LIMS capturing and issuing of COAs

    Essential skills and competence:

    • Good understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards
    • Good understanding of good laboratory practices (GLP) and good manufacturing practices (GMP)
    • Proactive communication skills
    • Strong numerical ability
    • Strong teamwork ability
    • Understanding housekeeping and ensuring proactive implementation thereof
    • Taking accountability for tasks
    • Analytical thinking
