    Admin Controller

    • Our client in the Retail Industry is looking for an Admin Controller to join their team in Pinetown.

    Cash:

    • Ensure that the banking is done daily in conjunction with the Store Manager as per the banking procedures
    • Ensure all cash ups balance with the banking
    • The drop safe must be always locked and the key kept by the Admin Controller.
    • Cash float must be checked and all spare keys for the floats must be kept at a safe place sealed in packets in the safe.
    • Cash floats must always balance, and the Admin Controller must take full responsibility for the safe
    • When cash ups are done, ensure that the cashiers balance. If there are shortages or over banking, this needs to be investigated and relevant corrective action taken

     Administration:

    • Control the standard of Administration and Procedures in the Store and enforce the relevant disciplines to maintain these standards Prepare requisitions to replenish stock
    • Ensure daily morning file is done as per the filing procedures. All filing duties are: Cash Control File, Petty Cash File, Stock Control File 1, Stock Control File 2, Personnel File & Internal Request file.
    • Make sure all slips are signed with the necessary signature/s including over-rides, voids, and refunds, till open and so on.
    • Ensure that reports are up to date.

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

    • Maintenance & Roadworthiness: Oversee the Fleet Manager’s execution of preventative maintenance schedules, COF (Certificate of Fitness) renewals, licensing, and immediate resolution of mechanical breakdowns.

    • Rate Management: Maintain, update, and distribute accurate transporter rate sheets to the administrative team; eliminate unauthorized rate variances.
    • Commercial Negotiation: Continually source new transport providers and negotiate competitive freight rates with existing and new operators to reduce overall logistics spend.
    • Financial Reconciliation: Oversign, verify, and resolve queries relating to transport recons, internal fleet running costs, diesel rebates, and demurrage claims before final financial sign-off.
    • Goods in Transit (GIT) & Asset Insurance: Ensure the central GIT spreadsheet is updated in real-time for 3PLs, and verify that the internal fleet insurance policies are fully compliant and active to eliminate corporate liability.

    Cold Chain Integrity & Claims Management

    • Cold Chain Safeguarding: Enforce strict temperature control protocols across all transit legs, ensuring reefer units maintain specified temperatures for poultry, beef, pork, fish, and vegetables.
    • Cold Store Synergy: Oversee seamless communication with internal and commercial cold storage facilities to guarantee loading/offloading bookings are secured timeously, preventing vehicle standing time.
    • Incident & Claims Resolution: Manage the end-to-end resolution of transport claims resulting from product damages, shortages, temperature deviations, theft, or road accidents.
    • Root Cause Analysis: Investigate all transit failures, implement corrective actions, and enforce financial recoveries from transport suppliers or internal disciplinary protocols where fault is established.

    Qualifications
    Minimum:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Sales and Marketing Management or a related field (NQF 7)

    Advantageous:

    • Bachelor’s Honours Degree in Sales and Marketing Management or a related field (NQF 8)

    Experience

    • 6–8 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing within a Manufacturing environment.
    • At least 3 years’ experience at a Supervisory or Management level.

    Technical Competencies

    • Computer Literacy (MS Office Suite, SAP, ERP Systems, Salesforce, and other job-specific software).
    • Strong knowledge of relevant Sales and Marketing processes and practices.

    Temp Millwright x3 (6 Month Contract)

    • Our client in the automotive industry based in Kariega/Uitenhage is seeking Temp Millwrights for a 6 month contract

    Duties:

    • Identify problems on Injection Machines/ Vibration Machine/US Welding Robot (Electrical & Hydraulic & Pneumatic).
    • Provide repair or improvement suggestions to the Maintenance Manager/ Supervisor.
    • Obtain go-ahead from the Maintenance Manager/Supervisor for improvements.
    • Implement improvements.
    • Conduct daily preventative maintenance inspections and checks as per routine.
    • Conduct repairs according to planned schedule.
    • Conduct repairs according to machine availability.
    • Monitor machines and equipment for preventative maintenance.
    • Identify cause of the breakdown & fill in breakdown log sheet.
    • Repair breakdowns.
    • Full report documented (job card, plant status board, breakdown history).
    • Perform line QRCI on breakdowns and support UAP QRCI.
    • Perform services according to scheduled service plan (3/4 level maintenance).
    • Adhere to requirements and standards.
    • Ensure HSE are at all times adhered to.

    Requirements:

    • Red Seal Trade Test Millwright / 3-year Diploma/Degree
    • Trade tested Millwright with at least 6 years' after trade test experience
    • Completed robot programming courses
    • Experience in Electrical & Pneumatics & Hydraulics
    • Experience and understanding of injection moulding machine
    • Reading and understanding Electrical & Hydraulic drawings
    • PLC experience & programming qualified
    • Good in electrical & mechanical and hydraulic with PLC fault finding
    • Valid drivers license and own transport
    • Ability to speak, write and read the English language
