    Driver - Hyundai PDC (CPT)

    Specific Role Responsibilities

    • Assist service advisors and receptionists when called upon in providing transport for customers.
    • Assist end controller in his duties including the moving of cars in and out of inspection area, as and when required.
    • Move cars in and out of wash bays as required.
    • Recover broken down vehicles with the carshop ldv and/or Mobi-jack as directed by foreman.
    • Record correct kilometres covered by vehicle on every trip in the log book provided.
    • Report any faults found on breakdown vehicle or Mobi-jack to foreman. -ensure that vehicles are driven safely and in a courteous manner.
    • Report any accidents to workshop foreman.
    • Carry out additional reasonable duties from time to time and at the discretion of management.
    • Assist wash bay to clean customer and breakdown vehicles.

    Qualifications and Experience

    • 1-2 years experience as a Driver in the Corporate sector
    • A valid Driver License (Code 08)

    Workshop Foreman (Hyundai Meadowdale)

    Requirements Of Key Duties And Responsibilities

    • Repair and service motor vehicles according to AMH standards and specifications 
    • Repair and service vehicles according to specific or franchise specifications
    • Establish parts required for service or repairs to be performed and ensure the correct parts are ordered
    • Report to Foreman / Service Advisor promptly on any additional work required
    • Obtain authorisation prior to carrying out additional work
    • Obtain technical information from Foreman / Master Technician on problem jobs
    • Adhere to AMH workshop policies and procedures
    • Ensure that all old parts are placed in a plastic bag in the boot of the vehicle, except in the case of warranty work where old parts must be returned to the Warranty Clerk
    • Ensure that all oils and consumables used are recorded on the job card
    • Ensure that worked hours are clocked correctly
    • Ensure that the vehicle is kept as clean as possible and that all seat and fender covers are clean
    • Do not leave keys in an unattended vehicle
    • Ensure that work bay is kept safe, clean and tidy
    • Report any faulty / broken equipment to the Foreman / Workshop Manager
    • Ensure that special tools and equipment are used according to safety regulations and specifications

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Performs all repairs as assigned to the role.
    • Assists technicians with diagnosis of vehicles.
    • Understands keeps abreast of, and complies with all regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OHSA Right-to-Know, etc.
    • Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures.
    • Ensures that all department employees receive appropriate manufacturer training.

    • Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
    • Monitors shop conditions, including cleanliness, safety, and the condition of shop equipment. Reports problems to the service manager or dealer.
    • Ensures the proper care, storage, and inventory of special tools.
    • Keeps abreast of new equipment and tools available and recommends purchases.
    • Fills in for Service Advisor when necessary.
    • Attends manager and workshop production meetings as requested.
    • Assists technicians in developing their skills.

    Qualifications and Experience

    Experience Required:

    • Qualified Technician
    • Prior workshop Foreman experience - an advantage.
    • Prior Renault experience - essential
    • Certified Renault Co-Tech is a minimum requirement.

    • Senior Certificate (Grade 12)

    Risk Administrator - Edenvale

    Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited:

    • Send written communications to risk representatives within the Divisions.
    • Notify the risk representatives so that they are aware of risk processes, timelines and deadlines for risk related meetings and events.
