    Social Media Co-Ordinator

    Job Advert Summary    

    • Support the Group Director of Marketing in the day to day running and management of the Newmark Hotel & Reserves Social Media portfolio. Create and organize content across a range of social media profiles for different hotels, lodges, and reserves.

    Minimum Requirements    

    • 2 – 3 years’ experience in Social Media role or similar
    • Previous experience with hotels, lodges, and resorts advantageous
    • Marketing or Media diploma/ equivalent preferable
    • Ability to work in a pressurized environment
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Excellent Planning and Organisational skills
    • Computer Literacy: Microsoft Word & Excel, Social Media Scheduling platforms and design programs advantageous
    • Strong copywriting skills – ability to write for the digital audience
    • Must be a team player

    Duties and Responsibilities    

    • Posting/Scheduling content across social media accounts
    • Write copy for social media posts across all channels i.e. Instagram and Facebook
    • Communicate with followers, respond to dm’s, comments and monitor customer reviews according to SOP. 
    • Being on top of the latest social media trends
    • Weekly content creation i.e. reels and stories
    • Update social media elements across all channels on a monthly basis
    • Assist the Group Director of Marketing with creating campaign specific content for social media channels
    • Work with graphic designer to create elements for social media channels i.e. stories, carousels etc.
    • Assist the Group Director of Marketing with influencer and content creator partnerships and brand collaborations across all channels
    • Monthly Reporting, insights and recommendations for hotels, lodges & reserves.

    Executive Housekeeper

    Job Purpose

    • To lead and manage the housekeeping department in delivering exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and guest service standards aligned with Qwabi’s five-star luxury hospitality offering. Responsible for maintaining accommodation excellence, leading the housekeeping team, and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with company standards.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Grade 12 (Matric) required; Hospitality qualification advantageous.
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in luxury lodge, hotel, or premium hospitality operations.
    • Previous experience in a senior housekeeping or supervisory role.
    • Strong knowledge of housekeeping standards, hygiene, quality control, and guest service.
    • Computer literate with Microsoft Office experience.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays.

    Health, Safety & Compliance
