    Store Manager - PEP Home 5580 Upington Kalahari Mall (Northern Cape)

    Description

    • PURPOSE OF POSITION: Leading a store team to meet business KPIs including driving sales, cost control,  mitigating risks and stock loss, administration and ensuring world class store standards. 

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Increase sales by focusing on customer service and world-class store standards, maintenance of the store image, stock management and promotional implementation
    • Stock loss is minimised by having a healthy store culture and following security measures, stock and cash handling procedures.
    • Manage cost according to the company low cost culture by driving efficiencies in the store.
    • Ensure administrative duties within the store are done according to the company guidelines.
    • Leading a dynamic team of Dynamos - taking responsibility for team training, coaching and performance.
    • Standards - maintain general health, safety and housekeeping standards

    Requirements
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Grade 12 
    • Proficient in English. 
    • Relevant tertiary education - a degree/diploma in a business/retail related field would be an advantage.
    • Ideally 1-2 years experience in a retail environment within a leadership role.
    • Computer Literate (Microsoft and/or Google GSuite - will be an advantage).

    Data Analyst (eCommerce) (Northern Suburbs (Cape)

    Purpose of the job

    • We are seeking a commercially minded Ecommerce Data Analyst to support our online retail platform within a large-scale omnichannel retail environment.  The role focuses on analysing and optimising the end-to-end ecommerce customer journey, from traffic and conversion through fulfilment and post-purchase customer experience. You will work closely with Ecommerce Product Owners, Digital Marketing, Merchandising, Fulfilment, and Technology teams to drive data-led decisions.  This is an end-to-end analyst role, covering data sourcing, data product specifications, insight generation, visualisation, and delivery of clear commercial recommendations.

    Ecommerce Analytics & Insights

    • Analyse customer & ecommerce performance across traffic, funnels, products, baskets, and fulfilment
    • Deliver regular and ad-hoc reporting with clear, actionable insights
    • Identify trends, issues, and opportunities to improve online performance

    Reporting & Visualisation

    • Build and maintain ecommerce dashboards and performance reports
    • Enable self-service analytics through well-designed visualisations

    Systems & Data Delivery

    • Define analytics, tracking, and data requirements with product and technical teams
    • Specify data tables, metrics, and data products for data engineering
    • Ensure data quality and measurement readiness for ecommerce releases

    Performance Measurement

    • Evaluate website changes, promotions, campaigns, and launches
    • Define KPIs, assess results, and recommend improvements

    Advanced Analytics Support

    • Support predictive initiatives such as demand forecasting and conversion analysis

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a data analytics role
    • Proven experience in ecommerce, digital, or online retail analytics
    • Experience working with product teams and technical stakeholders
    • Bricks & Mortar Retail experience advantageous

    Technical Skills:

    • Advanced SQL (BigQuery)
    • Google Analytics / GA4 and ecommerce event tracking
    • Understanding of Shopify ecommerce data structures
    • Data visualisation tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
    • Strong understanding of statistics, data modelling, and data quality
    • Knowledge of data privacy and POPIA principles

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is advantageous.
    • Retail Marketing Experience: Demonstrated track record (5-8  years) in retail marketing, showcasing your understanding of retail trends and customer-centric strategies.
    • Experience in the telecommunications and financial services category would be an advantage. 
    • Data Proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis, leveraging insights to optimise customer-centric marketing strategies.

    • Capturing and processing of information in order to upload the data into the system, as well as data reconciliation.
