What you will do

• Perform 2nd & 3rd line incident management for Desktop and Cloud server infrastructure technologies.
• Maintenance activities to ensure that the servers (both Cloud & Hyper-V) and IT infrastructure remains available and 'fit for purpose.
• Provide timely IT support for all regions globally and prioritise workloads/tasks accordingly.
• Deployment and maintenance of Cloud infrastructure.
• Identify trends, patterns and issues during daily incident management and provide management with the necessary report whilst suggesting improvements to processes.
• Regular updating of the policy document for ISO 27001 following the Information Security Manager’s specifications.
• Ensuring all works run through change control protocols.
• Ensure security compliance of the IT infrastructure by carrying out remedial actions as required.
• Support the IT Service Desk team with BAU support.
• Support the Infrastructure Department with project support when required.
• Understanding of mobility/Bring Your Own (BYO) management concepts for Microsoft in-tune, Android, and iOS.
• Functional knowledge and experience of Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of Low code environments, such as the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Infrastructure innovation.
• Out of hours work to support global teams when required.
• Microsoft Office 365 Configuration and migrations.
• Backup and DR of the complete IT infrastructure, this includes monthly reporting.

What we are looking for

• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office & Windows XP/Windows7/Windows10 and Office 365 + Mac,
• Have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, be willing to go the extra mile and suggest improvement to departmental processes.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, be able to provide updates to the relevant individuals/teams as and when necessary.
• Solid understanding of General IT equipment e.g., Switch, routers, RAM etc.
• Experience in SQL server management
• Background in cybersecurity is desirable.
• Technical experience Office 365 and administration of MS Azure.
• Real-world experience of cloud system deployment.
• Be able to demonstrate advanced networking skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Team and Microsoft PowerApps.
• Experience supporting Azure DevOP’s platforms, Maintain Blob Storage as well as other cloud technologies.
• Solid technical experience in supporting Microsoft server infrastructure (hardware and software).
• Experienced engineer with an excellent record of server infrastructure, medium and large schedule rolls of Cloud-first infrastructures.
• Experience in working with MS windows server 2012/R2, ADFS, AD MS SharePoint, Exchange, PowerShell, Skype for business, Teams, O365, Intune, Watchguard and Unifi products.
• Working knowledge and experience of Hyper-V are essential.
