    Administrator

    Role Purpose    
    To provide and promote high quality administration duties within the scope of work of an administrator in the nursing discipline.

    Requirements    

    • A National Senior Certificate is essential
    • Relevant tertiary qualification in an administrative field would be an advantage
    • At least 1-2 years' office administration experience is essential
    • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Ensure that all documentation is maintained accurately and timeously.
    • Identify and understand problems and opportunities to take appropriate action and/or to resolve problems effectively.
    • Attend to patient queries.
    • Maintain professional conduct and standards in accordance with company policies and procedures.
    • Perform quality improvement activities and risk management.
    • Maintain a therapeutic, clean and safe environment that is free from hazards.
    • Report any potential or actual risks identified.
    • Maintain infection control practices.

    Social Worker

    Role Purpose    

    To provide therapeutic support to the workforce to address the social, emotional and practical needs of the employees and to work towards creating a workplace that focuses on mental health, well-being, support and awareness.

    Requirements    

    • A National Senior Certificate is essential
    • Degree in Social Work
    • Valid registration with the South African Council for Social Service professions as a Social Worker is essential
    • Minimum of 2 years’ working experience as a Registered Social Worker
    • Exposure to the role of a social worker in the mining industry would be an advantage
    • Driver's licence and own insured vehicle is essential
    • Knowledge of the Microsoft Suite 

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Provide support and counselling to employees facing challenges such as trauma, grief, addiction and/or domestic violence.
    • Assessment of employee needs and implementation of intervention plans where appropriate.
    • Establishing relationships and provider networks within the area for support, resources and referrals.
    • Provide crisis intervention and support when required.
    • Establish and implement awareness and educational programmes to promote wellbeing within the workplace.
    • Compile, analyse and present monthly reports reflecting the activities for the month as well as highlighting trends and recurring issues.

    Wellness Coordinator

    Role Purpose    
    Plan, coordinate and implement all aspects of events from conceptualisation to delivery and post-event debriefing and evaluation.

    Requirements    

    • It is essential to have a National Senior Certificate
    • Relevant Degree/ Diploma in health or wellness, general events, project co-ordination or marketing is advantageous  
    • At least two years’ experience in wellness coordination, eventing, project co-ordination or marketing is essential
    • MS Office proficiency
    • Must have own insured vehicle and a valid driver's licence 
    • Must be willing to travel

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Engage with stakeholders to determine wellness event requirements and develop a creative wellness plan.
    • Manage and coordinate the logistics of wellness events (site requirements, equipment, marketing material, transport where applicable, communications etc.).
    • Manage the service delivery and standard of service providers to ensure they successfully delivery on the wellness event brief form.
    • Assistance with set up and strike down for wellness days.
    • Develop and facilitate strategies to increase awareness and participation at on-site wellness days.
    • Liaise with stakeholders, branding, marketing and communications tams to promote the wellness event and manage promotional activities.
    • Assist with resolving digital requirement queries and health biometrics.
    • Handle all escalated queries from staff, clients and stakeholders.
    • Attendance of provincial wellness forums and meetings and presentation of statistics and trends.
    • Continuous improvement in the delivery of wellness day services.
    • Arrange and attend site visits to ensure that proper planning is conducted.
    • Provide on-site debriefing to stakeholders.
    • Create comprehensive wellness day reports as and when required.
    • Dynamically engage with participants and stakeholders at wellness day events.
    • Actively drive engagement from employees and members at wellness day events.
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
    • Make recommendations to improve client’s services within area of responsibility.
    • Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
    • Ensure effective and efficient administration of operational costs within budget, identify areas of financial risk and escalate where necessary.
    • Establish appropriate reporting and control procedures.
