    Wellness Coordinator

    Role Purpose    
    Plan, coordinate and implement all aspects of events from conceptualisation to delivery and post-event debriefing and evaluation.

    Requirements    

    • It is essential to have a National Senior Certificate
    • Relevant Degree/ Diploma in health or wellness, general events, project co-ordination or marketing is advantageous  
    • At least two years’ experience in wellness coordination, eventing, project co-ordination or marketing is essential
    • MS Office proficiency
    • Must have own insured vehicle and a valid driver's licence 
    • Must be willing to travel

    Duties & Responsibilities    

    • Engage with stakeholders to determine wellness event requirements and develop a creative wellness plan.
    • Manage and coordinate the logistics of wellness events (site requirements, equipment, marketing material, transport where applicable, communications etc.).
    • Manage the service delivery and standard of service providers to ensure they successfully delivery on the wellness event brief form.
    • Assistance with set up and strike down for wellness days.
    • Develop and facilitate strategies to increase awareness and participation at on-site wellness days.
    • Liaise with stakeholders, branding, marketing and communications tams to promote the wellness event and manage promotional activities.
    • Assist with resolving digital requirement queries and health biometrics.
    • Handle all escalated queries from staff, clients and stakeholders.
    • Attendance of provincial wellness forums and meetings and presentation of statistics and trends.
    • Continuous improvement in the delivery of wellness day services.
    • Arrange and attend site visits to ensure that proper planning is conducted.
    • Provide on-site debriefing to stakeholders.
    • Create comprehensive wellness day reports as and when required.
    • Dynamically engage with participants and stakeholders at wellness day events.
    • Actively drive engagement from employees and members at wellness day events.
    • Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
    • Make recommendations to improve client’s services within area of responsibility.
    • Identify solutions to enhance cost effectiveness and increase operational efficiency.
    • Ensure effective and efficient administration of operational costs within budget, identify areas of financial risk and escalate where necessary.
    • Establish appropriate reporting and control procedures.
