    Workplace Experience Student: SSHE

    • To support the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) management system by coordinating safety activities, maintaining accurate records, monitoring corrective actions, and assisting with risk management processes to ensure a safe and compliant working environment.

    Safety Administration & Compliance

    • Capture, record, and track safety risk observations, incidents, and near misses

    Assistant Operator-17

    Position Overview

    • The Reliever in Beverages Packaging provides support to the packaging team by temporarily filling in for absent or unavailable staff. This role ensures smooth operations, continuity of production, and adherence to quality and safety standards during shifts where regular employees are unavailable.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operate and monitor beverage packaging machinery (bottling, labeling, sealing, and palletizing).
    • Ensure packaging materials (bottles, cans, labels, cartons) are available and properly loaded.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area in compliance with hygiene standards.
    • Conduct routine checks to ensure packaging quality meets company specifications.

    Operator Packing

    Monitor the machine to pack products, set-up and monitor the machines, ensure quality, safety and efficiency.

    • Co-ordinate finished product bin availability, and bin cleaning.
    • Ensuring that mechanical hoists and block and tackle are operated as per the certified and design capacity and report any deviations.
    • Execute daily cleaning plan by climbing into or lowering oneself into a bin on scaffolding or bucket/ bucket seat, using block and tackle or mechanical hoist.
    • Scrapes, scours and brushes bin walls and hoppers using hand scrapers and brushes.
    • Fumigates the interior of bins with insecticides, rodent deterrents or poisons, using a spray gun, and defined bin cleaning tools.
    • Physically locks out bins under fumigation.
    • Complete various reports based on daily activities.
    • Completion of relevant operational documents/records.
    • Adhere to Fumigation standards through cleaning of bins and other equipment as per standard.
    • Follow relevant SOP's and Quality control and quality assurance results responded to if necessary.
    • Report Non-conformance where required.
    • Adhere to key KPIs.
    • Apply good manufacturing principles in the relevant work area.
    • Utilize allocated cleaning materials in maintaining the high standard within the relevant work area.

    • You will be responsible for Maintaining Engineering Equipment to world class standards while providing support to the Maintenance Coordinator.     Assistant Customer Marketing Manager: Activations

    • You work with the customer marketing manager to develop the selling tools across the portfolio in the Food Service channel. Working in close collaboration with Customer, Brands, Operations and End User Operators, you need to achieve the category growth targets in your channel, by turning brand strategies into commercial propositions.  You support the development of a differentiated End User Operator proposition and use your understanding to deliver coordinated, innovative, cross-functional sales value to the customer.
