Your responsibilities will include the creation of leases, the vetting of applications and reporting of these applications to internal agents and potential tenants. Job description

Property accountant needed for a well established property services company. Our client has been operating for over 40 years. They have offices in major cities and towns in South Africa, as well as operations in other African countries. They are affiliated with a renowned global commercial real estate and investment firm which enables them to offer unrivalled local expertise and global market knowledge with the sole purpose to maximise properties potential. They manage commercial, retail and industrial portfolios. To this end they are currently looking to employ a Portfolio Accountant. The responsibilities for this role are to analyse and reconcile detailed general ledger accounts. This person will also be responsible for keeping records and accounts accurate and current. It will also see you do researching and resolving of discrepancies and accounting errors. Completing related reports, summaries and records, as well as creating monthly expense reports and performing related clerical duties. The requirements for this role are a minimum of Matric and a related qualification, combined with 2-3 years experience in a property company. You will be required to work overtime from time to time. BEE preferable.
