    Quality Control Analyst

    • The incumbent will manage the quantitative and qualitative analysis of products, according to specification from HP Filling Station; Bulk  (Storage & road tankers) and Medical Filling Station. Play a periodical oversight on the filling and product handling process to ensure that it complies with the GMP requirements.

    Main Accountabilities

    • Analyse prepared gas mixtures and other products according to specification, efficiently and punctually
    • Ensure that calibration gasses used are available and within a stability period.
    • Adhere to Air Liquide SHEQ and IMS requirements.
    • Ensure analytical equipment used is calibrated and within calibration period.
    • Maintain all analytical equipment in good operating condition and report all faults.
    • Ensure that all batch manufacturing records for every batch are properly completed, checked, and filed.
    • Train and qualify all QC Laboratory Analysts.
    • Ensure that IMS and SHEQ documents and records are updated.
    • Retention of records providing effective traceability
    • Adhere to food safety prerequisite programmes (PRPs), SOP’s and the food safety management system to meet customer and product specifications of food grade gases
    • Participate in the internal and external audits
    • Ensure that batch records are captured in Intelex.
    • Randomly monitor the filling and product handling process to ensure that it complies with the GMP requirements.

    • National Diploma or Degree in Engineering or analytical chemistry, Technical Degree or equivalent
    • 1 to 3 years experience, Experience in Laboratory environment and heavy industry will be advantageous

    Spec Gas Intern

    How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

    • Qualitative and quantitative analysis of special gas mixtures and other gases to customer’s specification.
    • Analyse prepared special gas mixtures and other products according to specification, efficiently and punctually.
    • Ensure that calibration gasses are available and within specified stability period.
    • Maintain analytical equipment in a good operating order and report any faults by completing faulty equipment.
    • Assist Quality Control Laboratory with analysis of gasses as and when requested.
    • Perform method validation and uncertainty budget for methods in the laboratory
    • Ensure all conforming gas mixtures are certified timeously
    • Ensure that SANAS requirements are met as per ISO 17025:2005 and maintain accreditation
    • Adhere to Air Liquide SHEQ, IMS requirements (incl. FSSC (ISO 22000), ISO 9001, ISO 17025, etc.)
    • Ensure all laboratory documents and records are always up to date
    • Ensure analytical equipment used is calibrated and within the calibration period

    Safety Intern - YES4YOUTH

    • In this position, the incumbent is accountable to assist the HSE Manager in implementing, improving and maintaining the relevant ISO, Industrial Management System & supporting systems including compliance to the OHS Act. Assisting with Management System Internal Audits and completing the safety statistics, reports and managing SHEQ System regarding Safety and training on the system.

    Main Accountabilities

    • Compiling statistics and Safety Reports and issuing of the reports -  Including the following, weekly update of Safety Stats for Opscom Meeting (by 12:00 every Friday), all Monthly Safety Reports (by 2nd working day of every month), reporting on Aleris and uploading RCA’s (when required), SACGA Reports (Quarterly - by middle of the month following the end of the Quarter) and Assist with Annual Reports & Annual Aleris reporting.
    • Assist with Safety Training, Conduct Management System Internal Audits, control / follow up on reporting and closure of incidents / accidents / Near Misses and relevant RCA’s
    • General Admin Duties for the Safety Department (Travel, filing, etc)
    • Liaise with all Facilities / Departments on Safety requirements, Coordinate all World Wide Safety Campaigns
    • Issue Internal Audit Checklists & Collect Corrective Action
    • Manage all Facility / Departmental Management Review Minutes
    • Compile monthly Quality Statistics (Customer Cares, Nonconformance, Internal Audits)
    • Manage SHEQ System Modules for Safety & Quality
    • Notify Reviewers and Approvers of expiring Procedures & Work Instructions

    • Education: Matric certificate plus Safety tertiary  Diploma/Degree.

    Experience

    • 0- 2 Years experience in Safety
    • Knowledge of ISO 14000 / ISO 18000 would be advantageous

    Sales Admin Intern

    • This role supports the department by assisting in the management and execution of new sales projects, contract support and other admin initiatives. The intern will be responsible for coordinating project requirements, managing timelines, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders while gaining practical experience in both project management, sales  and contract management  within the company.
    • Manage and execute assigned small-scale projects from initiation to completion, ensuring objectives, scope, and specifications are properly defined and validated by concerned stakeholders.
    • Manage and execute Projects identified as core objectives for 
    • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and propose concrete corrective actions to stakeholders.
    • Assist with the development and digital integration of marketing materials, such as product catalogues, including coordinating with external service providers.
    • Execute other administrative tasks in the department.
    • Assist sales consultant with queries from customers
    • Maintain efficient and transparent communication with all internal and external stakeholders regarding project updates and marketing strategy.
    • Maintain and monitor customer contracts, proactively identifying expiring agreements and initiating the renewal process
