    Broiler Farm Manager - Wartburg

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Managing staff in a disciplined and effective manner.
    • Keeping accurate records.
    • Achieving targets and objectives.
    • Preparing budgets, managing and controlling running expenses.
    • Managing strict bio-security protocols.
    • Managing and control of Health and Safety requirements and laws.
    • Implementing and maintaining 20 Keys.

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • Minimum of a grade 12 education.
    • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of poultry Broiler farm management experience.
    • Passionate, self-motivated and performance driven.
    • A team player with the ability to manage staff.

    Quality Controller Hatchery Kaalfontein

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Manage and ensure that the chicks packed comply with specification and requirements.
    • Conduct Hatchery inspections daily (Area of Responsibility).
    • Maintain the HACCP system, ISO 22000 implementation, DAFF and OHS Regulations and issues.
    • Complete all records and corrective actions daily for signature of the Hatchery Manager and Hatchery Foreman.
    • Communicate to the food safety team and Production staff of any problems or improvements in production.

    • Monitor every process involved in the production of a product.

    • Report any damages of any machinery and equipment on a corrective action form to the foreman or manager.
    • Get involved in the OHS day to day issues.

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • Must have a Matric Certificate.
    • Must have a Poultry Meat Examiner qualification and a relevant diploma.
    • Ability to speak English and a second official language.
    • Must be able to communicate at all levels.
    • Must be able to work in a high pressured environment.
    • Must be willing to work shifts and overtime including weekends and public holidays.
    • Sound Knowledge of FSSC 22000, GMP requirements and Quality Management Systems.

    Sales Representative - Wholesale

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for: 

    • Establishing strong relationships with all Wholesale, Independent and Catering Customers
    • Professionally respond to all inbound sales inquiries
    • Interaction with Liaison Manager for new business opportunities

    • Computer literate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

    • Basic understanding of the 20 Keys concept is essential;
    • Able to work independently and have attention to detail

    • Must be bilingual with reference to the customer base
    • Grade 12 qualification is essential

    Electrician

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Start-up and running of processing plant.
    • Maintenance of equipment.
    • Fault finding.
    • Order spares, follow up on orders.
    • Daily attending to breakdowns in processing plant.
    • Maintaining and implementing the continuous improvement programme (20 keys) as well as the Health, Safety and Environmental programme.

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • Qualified Electrician (Red Seal).
    • Minimum of 2 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is essential.
    • Experience and knowledge of PLC’s.
    • Experience of MEYN evisceration equipment will be advantageous.
    • Must be computer literate – MS Office.
    • Ammonia experience will be advantageous.
    • Must have driver’s license and reliable transport.
    • Initiative and ability to progress in a multi-skilled environment, a willingness to learn as well as personal and professional integrity are key requirements.
    • Strong administrative, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills.
    • The candidate should be hardworking, honest and self-motivated.
    • Ability to cope under pressure.
    • Must be prepared to work overtime, shifts and/or standby.
    • Fluent in English and another language will be preferable.

    Qualifications: 

    • Must be a qualified Artisan
