    Visual Merchandising Specialist - Interbranch

    Job Description

    • The purpose of this job is to implement Brights Hardware Stores visual merchandising business plans, providing unique customer experience in stores by managing Seasonal Look and Promotional Manual processes and Operations Communication.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies for Brights Hardware Stores’ product range, including Plumbing, Electrical, Tools, Paint, Building, Irrigation and other sub departments.
    • Design and maintain attractive product displays and promotions to boost sales.
    • Collaborate with store managers and staff to ensure effective product placement and visual standards.
    • Analyse customer behaviour and market trends to inform visual merchandising decisions.

    General Assistant x5 - Drive Thru Yard Department

    Job Description

    • Purpose: The purpose of this job is to deliver exceptional customer service in such a manner that external and internal customers are satisfied including delivery and transfer drivers.  This is accomplished by offering friendly customer service, ensuring clean and tidy environment and accurate loading of all customers’ products purchased ensuring that the Yard runs efficiently so that no losses of neither stock nor dissatisfied customers occur in order to have customers return to the store increasing sales and profit margins.

    • The purpose of this job is to ensure that stock is priced, packed and displayed in a professional manner, readily available and of good quality for customer purchase in such a manner that it results in a pleasant shopping experience for the customer in order to have customers return to the store increasing sales and profit margins.  This includes ensuring that fixed displays are planned and installed to show goods for maximizing internal advertising

    Driver Code 14 - Drive Thru Yard

    Job Description

    • Purpose: The purpose of this job is to ensure that goods are delivered accurately and punctually in good condition as expected by the customer.  This will include dealing with customers, staff from all branches, monitoring the loading and offloading of transfers and making sure that the delivery vehicle is in good condition by doing daily check-up of the vehicle and providing good customer service.  This will result in customer satisfaction and generate sales promoting the business and creating sustainable growth and profit margins.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide good customer service
    • Completing of daily trip sheets (opening/closing km, departure/arrival times)
    • Completing a daily pre-trip inspection of your vehicle to ensure basic roadworthy standards. (indicating on trip sheet)
    • Reporting any defect on your vehicle to your Supervisor (completing of vehicle repair report)
    • Ensure that the truck assistants are with the truck at all times.
    • Plan and ensure with the most efficient route to your customer
    • Ensure all out going stock have the relevant documentation before being loaded.
    • Ensure all transferred documents are recorded in your logbook.
    • Ensure the transfer logbook is signed by the branch who receives the stock.
    • Ensure all stock are delivered in excellent condition
    • Hand in weekly evaluation reports to your Supervisor.

    Crane Operator Key Responsibilities

    • Operate crane safely to lift and move heavy loads
    • Inspect crane before use to ensure they are in good working order
    • Ensure the safe loading ,unloading ,and movement of materials using the crane
    • Assist with the positioning of loads and make adjustments as required
    • Perform daily checks and minor maintenance on crane equipment
    • Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures

    REQUIREMENTS:

    Operational Clerk - Drive Thru Yard

    Job Description

    • Purpose: The purpose of this job is to ensure that stock is readily available and of good quality for customer purchase, resulting in effective and efficient operation of the organization in order to generate sales and increase growth and profit margins.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Ensure that stock is readily available for customers to purchase.
    • Check the accuracy and completeness of stock received on delivery notes or invoices from suppliers against purchase orders as well as incoming transfers received from other branches as per stated SOP
    • Regular stock counts to be done against stock received as per invoices, delivery notes or incoming transfers
    • Check barcodes daily when receiving stock and report irregularities
    • Daily floor walks to be done in the mornings per department and regularly communicate with merchandisers to replenish shelves/stock. Immediately report gaps to Stock-Coordinator who will address matter with relevant stakeholders to improve performance
    • Assist in marking and packing in the storeroom. Check if stock is sorted, marked & packed according to Department or supplier for easy tracking purposes to improve performance
    • Participate in perpetual stock takes
    • Perform any work related task as delegated by superior
    • Ensure that all invoices to reach Admin department timeously
    • Ensure that all incoming transfers are logged & distributed
    • Logging of discrepancies in shorts & over books daily

    REQUIREMENTS:
