    Brand Consultant

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Sales and Account Management

    • Achieve Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales goals by promoting and selling Dermalogica products to new and existing clients. 
    • Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with salon, spa, and retail partners, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to sell Dermalogica products. 
    • Order Management: Assist clients with placing orders, managing inventory, and tracking product sales performance. 

    Product Training and Education

    • Conduct Training Sessions: Educate spa and skincare centre staff, and other clients about Dermalogica’s product line, ingredients, and treatment protocols. 
    • Skincare Consultations: Provide expert advice on product selection and skincare routines for both professionals and consumers. 
    • Workshops and Events: Organize and lead workshops, demos, and events to enhance brand awareness, product knowledge and sell out 

    Brand Representation and Promotion

    • Brand Ambassador: Represent Dermalogica at trade shows, industry events, and in-store promotions, showcasing the brand’s values and mission. 
    • Merchandising: Ensure Dermalogica products are well presented in stores and salons, setting up attractive and organized displays that align with brand standards. 
    • Marketing Support: Collaborate with marketing teams to implement campaigns and promotions that drive product visibility and consumer engagement. 

    Customer Relationship Management

    • Client Support: Provide exceptional service to spa and skincare partners, addressing any questions or concerns, and offering solutions to improve product sell-through. 
    • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the brand’s presence by onboarding new accounts or introducing Dermalogica to potential partners. 
    • Feedback Collection: Gather insights from clients about product performance and relay this feedback to the appropriate internal teams. 

    Reporting and Analysis

    • Track Performance: Monitor sales performance and analyze trends to make data-driven recommendations for improving sales strategies. 
    • Generate Reports: Maintain accurate records of sales, training activities, and account visits, providing regular updates to management. 
    • Market Analysis: Stay informed about competitors and market trends, sharing insights to help shape future sales and marketing initiatives. 

    Product Knowledge and Development

    • Stay Informed: Continuously update product knowledge, including new launches, reformulations, and industry advancements. 
    • Demonstrate Expertise: Use in-depth skincare expertise to demonstrate product benefits and offer credible recommendations tailored to individual client needs. 

    Collaboration and Teamwork

    • Work Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with the marketing, education, and customer service teams to align efforts and optimize client satisfaction. 
    • Support Team Goals: Assist colleagues and share best practices to drive the overall success of the Dermalogica brand. 

     Requirements:

    • Skincare diploma or degree 
    • Business management experience advantageous  
    • Sales training or courses  
    • Training and development courses or experience 
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel
    • Driver's license and own vehicle (will be required to travel)

    Experience required:  

    Industry Experience:

    • At least 2-3 years of experience in the skincare, beauty, or wellness industry is preferred. This could include working as a licensed aesthetician, spa therapist, or beauty consultant. 
    • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with skincare products, active ingredients, and industry trends is essential. 

    Sales Experience

    • Sales or Account Management: Prior experience in sales, account management, or a customer-facing role. Experience in meeting sales targets and driving revenue 
    • Retail Experience: Experience working in retail environments advantageous  

    Educational and Training Background

    • Education in Skincare: A certification or degree in aesthetics or somatology is highly valued 
    • Training Experience: Experience conducting training sessions or workshops is beneficial. 

    Customer Service and Relationship Management

    • Client Interaction: Experience dealing directly with customers or clients and managing relationships effectively. 
    • Handling Objections: Skills in addressing customer concerns, objections, and inquiries confidently and professionally. 

    Marketing and Promotional Experience

    • Event and sell out initiative experience: Experience with marketing or promotional campaigns can be advantageous, involves brand activation or collaboration with marketing teams. 
    • Social Media Familiarity: Knowledge of how to leverage social media for brand promotion and engagement may be a plus.

    Trade Marketing Assistant

    Key Responsibilities: 

    • Promotional Planning: Support the development and execution of promotional activities, including in-store merchandising, seasonal campaigns, and special events. 
    • Visual Merchandising: Assist in implementing and maintaining visual merchandising standards across retail and professional environments to ensure consistent brand presentation. Collaborate with the team to plan and refresh displays that enhance shopper experience and support sell-through. 
    • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of trade shows, product launches, conferences, and other marketing events—some of which may require local travel. 
    • Material Development: Contribute to the creation of marketing assets such as brochures, flyers, point-of-sale materials, and presentations, ensuring alignment with Dermalogica’s brand identity. 
    • Administrative Support: Manage administrative tasks including budget tracking, report generation, purchase orders, and data entry to ensure smooth daily operations. 
    • Trade Partner Relationships: Assist in building and maintaining strong working relationships with trade partners to support visibility and retail activation. 
    • Performance Tracking: Help monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives and provide insights for continuous improvement.  
    • E-commerce Customer Support: Assist with resolving online customer service queries, including order tracking, payment issues, and complaint resolution, to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

    Qualifications 

    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or in a related field.
    • Code B driver's license and own transport.
    • Strong understanding of marketing principles and practices. 

    Experience required:  

    • 1-2 years of experience in marketing or a related field. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). 
    • Proficiency in Google Suite

    Ecommerce Manager

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Ecommerce Strategy and Revenue Growth 

    • Develop and execute the ecommerce roadmap to achieve revenue, conversion, and customer acquisition goals. Ensure the ecommerce channel complements and strengthens Dermalogica’s professional and retail distribution strategy. 

    Site Optimisation and Digital Merchandising 

    • Lead continuous improvement of the online experience - optimising site structure, navigation, product pages, and merchandising strategies to improve usability and increase basket size. 

    Customer Journey and Experience 

    • Deliver a best-in-class customer experience by ensuring the ecommerce journey is seamless, responsive, and aligned with Dermalogica’s brand values. Drive initiatives to improve retention, average order value, and customer lifetime value. 

    Digital Performance and Analytics 

    • Monitor ecommerce KPIs including traffic, conversion rate, bounce rate, AOV, and iROAS. Leverage data to identify opportunities, test solutions, and refine strategy. Build dashboards and reporting tools to support performance tracking and insights sharing with EXCO. 

    Campaign and Product Launch Execution 

    • Manage the online execution of brand campaigns and new product launches, working closely with Marketing, Education, and Design to ensure timely and accurate rollout across all digital touchpoints. 

    CRO and Personalisation 

    • Implement A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation strategies. Partner with CRM and performance marketing team to deliver personalised experiences, product recommendations, and dynamic content. 

    Cross-Functional Collaboration and Operations 

    • Coordinate with internal teams (Marketing, Design, Education, Customer Service, Operations) and external partners (agencies where applicable) to ensure ecommerce operations run smoothly and align with campaign calendars and brand objectives. 

    Budget Management 

    • Manage the ecommerce budget, ensuring spend is prioritised for growth-driving activities. Track and report on budget performance in alignment with business goals. 

    Innovation and Platform Development 

    • Stay ahead of ecommerce, UX/UI, and digital retail trends. Identify and implement new technologies and platforms to enhance the online customer experience and support future growth. 

    Qualifications 

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Ecommerce, Marketing, Digital Business, or a related field. 

    Experience required:  

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an ecommerce or digital performance role, ideally within the beauty, skincare, or premium consumer goods sectors. 
    • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and optimising digital customer journeys. 
    • Experience working with ecommerce platforms and content management systems (e.g., Shopify). 
    • Experience in digital performance marketing, including PPC, SEO, Google Analytics, and email marketing tools such as Klaviyo. 
    • Strong analytical skills with experience in data management and budget planning. 
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Analytics (GA4 preferred). 
    • Experience in managing ecommerce sales, including revenue forecasting, target setting, and performance reporting. 
    • Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms and CRM tools. 
    • Familiarity with digital advertising platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and other paid social tools.
