Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:
Assist Artisans in the execution of their tasks including breakdowns, installations, problem solving and maintenance.
Cleaning, painting, general housekeeping and handyman activities when required.
Engineering workshop upkeep.
Removal and stripping of machines components and assemblies
Use of Forklift for Maintenance tasks
Taking of samples in utilities areas
The successful candidate must have the following experience/skillsets and work ethic:
Grade 12
N2 would be advantageous as this is a pipeline position
Forklift Driver license
Punctual and able to work after hours when required
Resilience and ability to work well under pressure
Able to work unsupervised for menial tasks
Experience with workshop equipment (Drills, grinders, lathes, etc)
Competently use hand tools (Proof of basic hand tools training will be advantageous)
Knowledge of safety requirements in a workshop and manufacturing site
Must be able to complete inspection sheets and job cards
You will be required to do the following:
Under the guidance of HO Sales, co-ordinate the Regional Sales business planning process in line with DMOS principles and value creation
Assist the regional Management Accounting team in co-ordinating the Capex and Opex budget and forecast process within Sales and Operations
Assist H.O. S.A. Finance in managing Sales DVC, including scenario planning and execution as well as budget control
Conduct analytical reviews, do feasibility studies and make proposals for improvement
Assist the Sales team in ensuring and managing and improving customer profitability and Gross Income
Ensure accuracy of Master data for regional sales
Ensure alignment of Redistributor data to Distell’s IT system
Maintain discipline for financial processes and procedures within the regional Sales environment
Manage the month end process and reporting for Sales and assist with journals for operations
Perform the stand in function for the Central Region BA when required
The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience / skills / qualifications:
A relevant Commercial Degree i.e. B.Com (Management Accounting) and/or studying towards CIMA
Valid Matric qualification
Proven commercial experience
Computer literate in MS Office packages & SAP and Excel on advance level
Good interpersonal skills, able to energise, lead and influence others
Must be innovative and self driven
Must have strong analytical ability
Must be able to work under pressure
The individual must be prepared to travel within the region
Key Performance Areas:
Deliver improved machine performance through maintenance best practises and ensuring strict adherence to the following objectives: housekeeping, safety, quality and budget control.
Capture and correlate time sheets from Packaging Engineering team
Assist with ICC – Packaging Engineering items (information submission etc.)
Capture PPE and Staff Orders requests from Packaging Engineering team
Support and provide input to packaging maintenance cycle
Print and deliver RCM schedules (daily, weekly, monthly)
Capture Work Arising orders from Breakdown Job cards & RCMs
Support quality problem solving (eg. A1, 5 Why, A3 process)
Track weekly RCM/PM Return Rates & Artisan Utilization
Capture Breakdown Job Cards in Hard Copy Filing systems
Responsible for all line technical documentation
Strictly drive and adhere to Distell’s engineering best practises, procedures and policies
Ensuring toolbox inspections are done monthly and non-adherence addressed.
Capture maintenance schedules in SAP
A minimum of 1 year SAP experience
Computer literacy (proficiency in Excel and word)
Development of OPL’s and quick fix routines

A minimum of 5 years engineering/ maintenance experience in manufacturing, FMCG environment i
