    Temp Packaging Analyst x4 - Wadeville Distell

    About the job

    • Applications are invited to apply for the above-mentioned position to be based in Wadeville, Supply Chain. The successful applicant will report to the Extrinsic Quality Manager.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Perform DPMO inspections and process control training and coaching in accordance with required procedures.
    • Reporting and handling of non-conformances, on both Finished product and Packaging material
    • Maintain laboratory equipment in area of responsibility.
    • Assist in maintaining the Quality Management system.
    • Perform administrative duties.
    • Maintain ISO 9001 and FSSC standards.
    • Liaise between Quality Control department and both Production and Materials departments.
    • Assist in problem solving.
    • Actively participate in all Mission directed work teams activities.
    • Ensure adherence to housekeeping principles.

    The Successful Candidate Must Have The Following Experience/skills

    • National Diploma in Food Technology or NQF level 3 packaging diploma or equivalent qualification will be an advantage.
    • Ability to work under pressure and independently.
    • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical abilities are essential.
    • Strong laboratory skills and knowledge.
    • Display knowledge and insight where to obtain information and interpret information relevant to own work area.
    • Ability to make independent decisions by applying product knowledge in own work area.
    • Ability to implement controls to ensure the achievement of quality standards.
    • Strong ability to do problem solving, fault finding and knowledge of various problem-solving methods.
    • Computer literacy, preferably MS Office will be considered advantageous.

    Electronic Technician - Springs

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintain electronic process control systems – hardware and software
    • Ensure that installation of new process control systems is done according to company standards
    • Maintain field hardware – loop checks / calibration, etc.
    • Review process control philosophies and recommend optimisation.
    • Audit process control programmes regularly and ensure that changes that are made are carried out according to ISO procedure.
    • Ensure the necessary documentation is done – installation drawings, P&ID’s, Loop identification, Field and termination tagging, etc.
    • Coordinate (program) individual machine output to optimise overall line performance
    • Ensure proper access control to electronic system
    • Fault finding and maintaining electronic equipment.

    • Actively participate in Minibuses Operating System activities.
    • Perform all relevant administrative functions
    • Train / coach Production controllers, Artisans, Machine controller and operators
    • Assist the Artisans and Production controllers with their tasks.

    The successful candidate must have the following experience/skills:

    • N4 with Trade Certificate – Electronic 
    • Matric 
    • 3-5 years experience in maintenance of electronic system
    • 3-5 various PLC experience including Siemens S7
    • 3-5 experience in industrial networks (Profibus / Net)
    • Ability to assist Production Controllers with problem solving on the production machines and equipment
    • Ability to transfer knowledge to peers and customers
    • Display strong action, initiative and focus competencies.

    • Conduct problem solving against proven techniques and methods.

    Fermentation Controller - Paarl

    Temp Assistant Brand Manager

    Purpose of the Position:

    • Develop, manage, grow, and sustain a prominent brand that delights consumers through the understanding, anticipation, creation, and meeting of consumer needs.

    Key Performance Areas would include, but are not limited to:

    • Maintain and update Regional Brandbox input
    • Assisting with monthly reporting on sales and A&P budgets
    • Assist with the country’s marketing budgets on expenditure, as well as monitoring thereof
    • Assist with packaging upgrade launches, assist with new SKU launches and rollouts
    • Assist with the procurement process of merchandise material, as well as the managing thereof

    The successful candidate must preferably have the following experience/skills/qualifications:

    • Appropriate tertiary qualification – degree/diploma (i.e., BCom. IMM)
    • Minimum 3 years relevant marketing experience, ideally across a range of categories/FMCGs
    • Knowledge of product pricing, packaging, distribution, and positioning
    • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends and best practices
    • Ability to conduct research and analyze data
    • Good organizational skills 
    • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral) and sound presentation skills 
    • Knowledge of SAP CRM as a planning and management tool for the brand activity will be advantageous 
    • Proven and appropriate brand knowledge
    • Computer literacy – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Basic SAP knowledge
    • Ability to work flexible hours
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Proven numerical aptitude and above-average analytical abilities
    • Able to work independently and under pressure
    • Willingness to travel
