    Family Physician -- Cape Town

    Assistant Carer Supervisor

    Discharge planner / Rehabilitation Coordinator

    Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary - Cape Town

    • HANDOVER:
    • Participate in handover by communicating observations of residents verbally and in the handover book

    • Regular observations and intervention of residents according to ECP care plan, including:

    • Record all tasks on ECP
    • Complete handover book
    • Report all duties and any concerns to the Shift Leader

    Requirements 

    • Qualifications - Qualified and SANC registered as Nursing Auxiliary (ENA)
    • Experience and Knowledge – Experience in Neuro, Stroke, Orthopaedics, and Geriatrics, as well as experience within Sub Acute environments advantageous

    Carer Team Leader - Somerset West

    • We are currently seeking a Carer Team Leader to join our team at our facility Bridgwater Manor in  Somerset West.
    • The Carer Team Leader is responsible for guiding a dedicated team of carers, collaborating closely with the supervisor and assistant supervisor to ensure the team achieves performance goals and delivers exceptional care to clients.
    • This role includes providing constructive feedback and coaching to team members, addressing any issues or concerns within the group, and fostering a positive, supportive work environment.

    Responsibilities: 

    • Ensure the care team is consistently following patient care plans and completing daily charting accurately.
    • Assist and ensure that the carer team performs activities of daily living (ADLs) in accordance with individual care plans to ensure residents' needs are met.
    • Maintain constant oversight of the floor to ensure residents are attended to and safe and ensuring that team members are present within their allocated areas. 
    • Ensure that the care team responds promptly to call and panic buttons, providing immediate assistance as needed.
    • Monitor that the carers are following policies, procedures and reporting non compliance to the manager
    • Ensures that the carer team are aware of their standby and owed shifts 
    • Ensure the deployment plan is followed accurately to maintain effective staff allocation.
    • Notify the manager of any staff absences promptly to ensure adequate coverage.
