    Maintenance Handyman (Permanent Position)

    Job Summary:

    • Maintenance Handyman

     Minimum Criteria Needed:

    • Valid Drivers licence
    • Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification (N3)
    • Building related technical certificate

     Experience:

    • 2-3 Yrs Relevant Working Experience

     Key Performance Areas:
    Tiling

    • Laying and cutting Ceramic tiling, doing measurement and levelling, ensuring precision and customer satisfaction

    Building erecting

    • Erecting of dry walling, installation of doors and windows to ensure safe working environment

    Purchase and collect stock from suppliers

    • Purchase and collect stock from suppliers ensuring adequate stock available when needed

    General housekeeping

    Pre-Analytical Laboratory Clerk (Permanent Position)

    Job Summary:

    • To administer the sorting, registration, distribution of laboratory specimens and delivery of results in accordance with established standard operating procedures (SOPs), ensuring accurate, prioritized, and timely processing of samples to support laboratory testing and referral activities.

    Key Performance Areas:
    Sample Handling and Distribution

    • Process sample registration (“logging”) and handle queries following set SOPs to maintain accurate specimen records.
    • Receive physical samples and verify that sample information matches data entered by the logging section, ensuring data integrity.
    • Receive physical samples sent from foreign countries and manage them in accordance with SOPs.

    Documentation and Record Management

    • Prepare and scan patient forms onto the laboratory scanning system (Occulus) according to SOPs for accurate electronic record-keeping.
    • Create shipping lists for outgoing samples to ensure a complete audit trail of sample distribution.
    • Check, package, and record all outgoing referral specimens (“send-aways”) as per defined protocols to ensure proper handling and traceability.
    • Pull and action by means of follow up and resolution of management reports in accordance with relevant SOP’s for accurate TAT
    • Receives and processes cash/credit card payments from internal and external sources in accordance with relevant SOP’s

    Workplace Standards

    • Perform basic housekeeping duties including cleaning and preparing equipment components such as refrigerators, adhering to hygiene and operational standards.
