The Role
The Reporting and Analytics Specialist will be responsible for the function of data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions and detailed reporting including an Executive Dashboard.
Reporting into the Centre of Excellence (COE) Operations Manager, this role will be part of the Global Payments Team. We seek a highly motivated and energetic self-starter who is highly analytical and organized.
The position will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The duties and responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
Data analysis, including data collection, synthesis, and translation of results into concrete actionable solutions
Design, update and manage Detailed Dashboard and Executive Partner reporting
Manage Root cause analysis (RCA) process - identify major issues and repeat escalations, track findings, implement agreed resolution
Track and measure outcome for 90 days in order to confirm if improvement successful and close the loop
Identify gaps between applicable requirements and current procedures/controls and drive resolution of mitigating controls
Work with business partners to design and implement enhancements to existing reporting tools and processes and/or business applications, introduce new toolsets, and engage in reporting re-engineering
Develop and implement solutions that strengthen business reporting, enhance the client experience, and improve efficiency and controls
Data modelling (data modelling) – create and manage a data model for the data to be stored in a database

Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication and presentations skills across various stakeholders and senior management
Intermediate/Advanced experience using Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent analytical and logical thinking to understand and analyse complex business processes Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
Ability to analyse and resolve project-related issues and follow through with set objectives
Ability to deal with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements, procedures, and processes

Qualifications and experience
Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field
2 - 5 years business analysis experience

The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Risk Manager to take responsibility of managing and evolving the MFS Africa Group Enterprise and Operational Risk Program. The Manager will be responsible for leading and managing MFS Africa’s approach to enterprise and operational risk management including credit, foreign exchange, operational, compliance, anti-money laundering, personal data, cyber & information security, reputational, and other risks as they become relevant.
The ideal candidate should have a strong Enterprise and Operational Risk Management background and is comfortable operating independently, pragmatically, and efficiently.
The role will work across all functions, activities and geographies of MFS Africa Group and will collaborate with key stakeholders and staff across the Group. The position will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa and will report to the Director Legal & Regulatory Affairs and GRC.
The duties and responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
Maintaining and updating as necessary the Enterprise Risk Management framework, including holding periodic assessments with senior management and updating of Risk Appetite Statement
Designing the relevant Operational Risk management framework, including the introduction and management of a Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) program
Ensuring the ongoing monitoring and testing of key controls
Overseeing and tracking the timely and adequate closure of risks, and escalating issues to management and board
Updating related Risk Management policies and procedures
Continuous monitoring of the effectiveness of the framework and the adherence to policies and procedures
Maintaining awareness of Risk Management across the organization, including awareness of risk event reporting process
Maintaining and providing updates to senior management and Board Audit & Risk Committee on the risk management program and risk events
Provide advisory guidance and support for business growth and opportunities across MFS Africa ensuring alignment to risk appetite of the organization
Be the primary point of contact for external auditors and other third parties who may need to interact with the risk management function

The Role
We seek an experienced Internal Audit Manager to take responsibility of the development and execution of the newly created Internal Audit function at MFS Africa. The role's responsibility will include managing co-sourced audits and working across all functions and activities of the MFS Africa Group to collaborate with key stakeholders and staff across the Group.
Our ideal candidate should have a strong Internal Audit and Risk background, is comfortable operating independently, pragmatically and meeting strict regulatory deadlines.
The position will be based in Johannesburg, South Africa and will have dual reporting lines:
a) Organizationally to the Managing Director, MFS Africa UK Limited
b) to the Group Board Audit & Risk Committee.
The duties and responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
Developing and maintaining an Internal Audit framework
Designing and setting the annual internal audit plan for approval by the Board Audit & Risk Committee (BARC)
Managing the scheduling of audits according to a risk-based execution plan
Executing audits as necessary
Managing the execution of audits with co-sourced partner(s)
Providing regular reporting to senior management
Providing updates to the BARC
Overseeing and tracking the timely and adequate closure of audit findings and escalating issues to management and board
Support the development and oversight of the Risk & Control Self-Assessment framework
Be the primary point of contact for external auditors and other third parties who may need to interact with the internal audit function
Dealing with any other day to day internal audit related issues as necessary
Conduct ad-hoc investigations and internal audits, when required
Provide reports, dashboards and feedback to stakeholders within the governance framework

The Role
This role will sit within Network Operations in the Project Management Office (PMO) which can be seen as an operational function that equips the organization with fit to purpose and best practice project methodologies. The PMO is mandated to create an environment for more effective project delivery, reduce risks and assumptions, as well as manage and control the business, technical and operational aspects of projects.
The Project Manager: Business Operations is a key part of the Network Operations PMO team and will be given the opportunity to work cross functionally alongside various teams within a hypergrowth organization while managing projects end-to-end. You will be responsible for the planning and oversight of multiple projects while ensuring critical projects are delivered and ensuring the Network projects in the business are continuously operating in a smoothly and effective manner.
The ideal candidate for this role will have expertise in a wide variety of project types and possess a strong framework for project management best practices and methodology. They will be confident making strategic adjustments as needed and have the ability to measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.
Reporting into the Senior Manager: Network PMO, the Project Manager: Business Operations will interface with leaders across the organization with action items and follow-up requests related to deadlines associated with various project deliverables. We seek a highly motivated and energetic self-starter motivated who has solid operational and administrative capability for this role.
The duties and responsibilities of the role will be as follows:
Monitor and oversee the work done by various departments and teams to ensure project deadlines are met, which will require undertaking a significant amount of administrative work
Facilitate stakeholder meetings, escalate roadblocks, and ensure proper task prioritization
Deliver a status report and a current state analysis on projects
Applying your knowledge and expertise in real-time to ensure momentum of projects is optimised
Participate in and own projects key to the execution of MFS Africa’s network expansion strategy and plans
Manage and coordinate project and business meetings with partners
Work with MFS Africa partners on ensuring the latest MFS Africa API, API-features (integrations evolution) and best-API practices are implemented by partners throughout the ecosystem
Manage Network PMO processes and templates
Coordinate and drive cross organisational communication
Coordinate across internal teams and business units across to implement solutions
Creating business processes to improve and reduce project activities across the different teams

Knowledge of project management, timelines, deadlines, and follow-through on finished projects
Ability to manage multiple projects throughout their lifecycles
Ability to manage cross functional activities in various teams simultaneously while maintaining exceptional internal communication skills

Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or any other relevant field
2–5 years of relevant experience ideally gained within fast-paced dynamic organisations within the financial services, payments, remittance industry
Agile certified
Previous experience in any project technical management role and capacity will be advantage
Project management certification such as CAPM, PMP would be advantageous
Pan African experience and exposure is highly desirable
