    Asset Tracker - Cape Town

    Duties and responsibilities includes but are not limited to:

    • Tracking and monitoring the movement of waste and scrap bins using excel spread sheets
    • Accurately produce bin reconciliation reports – daily, weekly and monthly reporting
    • Accurately Identifying and assessing damaged bins
    • Coordinating the repairs of damaged bins
    • Advising buying and operations of bin availability
    • Tracking and recovering of lost bins
    • Assist with ad-hoc duties in the transport department as and when required
    • Will be required to travel to customer premises to check on slow moving bins and provide feedback to Sales Reps

    QUALIFYING CRITERIA:

    • Grade 12 or equivalent
    • Computer literacy essential ( Microsoft office) – create and maintain excel spreadsheets, communicate with email, compile reports and present data in tabulated form
    • Experience working in a Transport orientated division and environment will be an added advantage
    • Valid Code 08 license with own reliable transport

    Senior Electrician - Cape Town

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Building of and Installing new electrical systems
    • Maintaining and repairing installed electrical systems
    • Connection of motors and control switchgear

    Regional Hr Manager – SA Metal Group Gauteng

    Key responsibilities:

    • The following responsibilities cover the Gauteng and surrounds region. The regional manager will report to the Divisional Director of HR based in Cape Town, but will be given significant independence to manage his/her own team -
    • Manage HR Team
    • Manage entire recruitment programme
    • Manage Industrial Relations processes including discipline, grievances, and CCMA cases
    • Advise on legislative requirements and updates
    • Create reports on statistics regarding employment practices
    • Ensure all departments function within the policies and procedures as set out in the company manual.
    • Consult on training requirements

    Qualifying experience:

    Security Officer - Cape Town

    Responsibilities (NOT limited to the below)

    • Ensure access and egress is controlled at all SA Metal property by completing the necessary registers and operating the gates
    • Searching pedestrians, vehicles and personal belongings of any person/s exiting SA Metal premises
    • Ensure that all customers and visitors are issued with PPE and that the PPE is returned after their visit
    • Ensure that any item/s leaving the SA Metal premises is accompanied by the relevant documentation
    • Ensure that all company procedures are adhered to before granting access to staff viz. Breathalyzer tests are conducted and passed
    • Ensure that all gates are manned at all times
    • Ensure that all the assigned areas are patrolled at regular intervals
    • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are fully adhered to at all times

    QUALIFYING EXPERIENCE

    • Previous security experience
    • Registered with PSIRA - minimum Grade C
    • Grade 12 or equivalent with good numeracy and literacy skills
    • Willing to work shifts, both day and night
    • Flexible and willing to work overtime
    • Excellent communications skills
