    Job Description

Reporting to the Nursing Manager, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality nursing care, optimising patients’ clinical status, and enabling meaningful participation in rehabilitation programmes.     Key Responsibilities

    • Execute and coordinate nursing care plans, allocate and delegate nursing activities, and monitor patients’ clinical status to ensure safe, effective care.
    • Manage medication administration, emergency equipment, emergency responses, wound and continence care, and support safe patient discharge processes.
    • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, educate patients and families, contribute to clinical decision-making, and maintain accurate clinical reporting.

    Requirements

    Job Description

    • Nurture Health is seeking a passionate and patient-centred Speech Therapist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team for August to September 2026. Reporting to the Therapy Manager, you will help patients regain communication and safe swallowing, enabling improved independence and quality of life through evidence-based rehabilitation interventions for a term of two months. 

    Key Responsibilities

    • Assess communication, swallowing, cognitive-linguistic, and functional abilities; develop and implement individualised therapy plans.
    • Deliver interventions for communication and feeding, prescribe augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) solutions, and provide caregiver education and training.
