    Senior Brand Manager

    Job description

    Our client – One of the strongest consumer brand franchises in the world and a Multinational manufacturer of home and personal care products focusing on Innovation yet offering affordable prices is recruiting for a Senior Brand Manager.

    A commercial understanding of business coupled with strong financial and analytical skills is fundamental to be successful. Your ability to understand the Forecasting and Supply Chain process will put you above the rest in this role. As the brand owner will be responsible for all aspects of the brands' performance including Profit and Loss and New Product Development (for local brands)

    In order to be successful this role you need the following key experiences:

    • In-depth understanding of competitor’s strength and weaknesses
    • Marketing Strategy development / Localisation of international strategies
    • Brand Activation across SA and Africa
    • Must have a strong theoretical and executional understanding of marketing processes (Strategy, NPD, Consumer Insights, media and advertising)
    • Profit and Loss (full accountability), Volume and Nett sales delivery

    Minimum experience and qualifications:

    • 3 Year qualification (B Comm Marketing or IMM preferably)
    • 6 years’ experience within the FMCG environment preferably within Home and Personal Care
    • At least 18 months on a Brand Manager level and currently on a Senior Product/Brand Manager level (not negotiable)

    Senior Manager Analytics

    Job description

    Opportunity to join the most successful and iconic brand around the world within the Telecommunications Industry. They have a reputation for constant innovation and being at the forefront of new developments focussing on the consumer and their needs.

    KPI’s and responsibilities include:

    • Lead a team of analysts ensuring that analytical requests are delivered within pre-defined SLAs
    • Ensure that a best in class analytical environment is put in place and maintained for your Analysts (software, tooling, hardware, automation etc.)
    • Constant innovation and experimentation to identify opportunities and improvements based on trends and patterns in the data
    • Research and develop methods for measuring and analysing direct marketing campaign impact on customer behaviour as well as revenue
    • Research and implement new algorithms and methods for optimising targeting, campaign impact, and incremental revenue lift
    • Implement complex modelling algorithms to estimate customer response.
    • Conduct exploratory and in-depth data analysis using SQL/Teradata and SAS

    Must haves:

    • A minimum of 8+ years working experience essential in an advanced analytical role
    • At least 3 years people management experience
    • Strong technical knowledge and experience in working with various analytical and modelling techniques in a commercial environment including SQL, SAS, QlikView
    • Telecommunications, Technology and Financial Services background experience a must
    • Experience in areas such as big data, machine learning, statistical modelling and analysis
    • A key affinity to learn new techniques, push the analytical/modelling envelope as well as teach others
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills essential (VBA and macro experience will be an advantage)
