    Key Account Manager (Design)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Managing a large team.
    • Dealing directly with both buyers and planners within the retail team.
    • Dealing with both Fabric and Trims suppliers. 
    • Managing the workflow within the team to ensure that product is delivered on time to the Retailer.
    • Managing cost centres and budgets to insure best use of company funds. 
    • Constantly improving costs and efficiencies to insure the best possible service to the Retailer.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • The successful candidate must have at least 5 years’ experience in the Design and Manufacturing of High Fashion apparel. 
    • They need to have had experience in managing a Team across various job functions. 
    • They must have dealt directly with major fashion retailers within the South African market.
    • They need to have had direct dealing with Buyers, Planners, Fabric Suppliers and CMT factories.
    • Design/Trend background is essential as the candidate needs a clear understanding of trends to influence product development and insure good rate of sale.
    • Experience in dealing with performance management, timekeeping and general conduct within a team is required.

    DC Manager - TFG Logistics - Riverfields

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage and coordinate all Warehouse Function in Inbound and outbound. 
    • Manage efficiency by identifying and implementing optimal processes and procedures and thereby minimise risk and costs.
    • Effective coordination and collaboration of suppliers, business units and external service providers with an important underlaying responsibility to drive a customer service culture, evaluate performance and plan improvements.
    • Continuously improve and develop business performance by managing profit and Loss, risk and compliance for DC (rentals, rates, water, electricity etc.) and
    • Management Claims and reporting linked to improved administration and financial tracking and reporting.
    • Effectively manage all inventory processes, stock accuracy and planning of the flow of stock
    • Manage and lead teams to deliver on the key business drivers.
    • Ensure that warehouse space and equipment is optimised to meet current and future business needs
    • Develop the business by gaining or supporting new 3rd party contracts, analysing logistical problems, producing and implementing new solutions.
    • Report on performance metrics and operational performance.
    • Manage customer liaison process and ensure that DC queries are resolved timeously

    Requirements:

    • Matric – Essential
    • Experience in Supply Chain and logistics – Essential
    • Degree in Supply Chain / Industrial Engineering or related field – Desirable
    • Minimum 10 years management experience in a similar role
    • A valid driver’s licence
    • Knowledge of DC Operations and/or Retail
    • Ecom experience would be advantageous
    • A customer-centric approach
    • Problem-solving, judgement and self-management skills
    • Exceptional communication and influencing skills (written and verbal)
    • Good people management and project management skills
    • An eye for detail and exceptional organisational skills

    DC Controller

    The Jewellery DC is seeking a dynamic and driven Controller to join our high-performance logistics team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for managing the daily performance of operational teams within your assigned functional area, ensuring optimal flow, accuracy, and output in line with business objectives.

    Responsibilities

    • Managing the output of Supervisors and Clerks across multiple teams;
    • Monitor and guide output and workforce planning, and scheduling;
    • Driving teams to meet and exceed daily and weekly performance targets;
    • Planning and managing the flow of information and merchandise across and through teams within available processing space;

    Qualifications and Experience

    • Having a post-matric qualification in Supply Chain Management/Logistics & Warehouse Management/Retail Business Management would be advantageous.
    • 3 – 5 years of leadership experience in supply chain, warehousing, or distribution environment;
    • Proven experience managing teams and driving performance through others;
    • Strong understanding of DC operations and logistics best practices;
    • Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and communication skills;
    • Hands-on leadership style with a focus on continuous improvement and development;
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications, i.e., MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint;
    • Working knowledge and experience with Warehouse Management Systems (eg, WMOS).
