    National Senior Commissioner: Dispute Resolution

    Key Performance Areas:-

    • Provision of Strategic Direction and Leadership for CCMA Operations
    • Financial Management
    • Labour Market Relationship Building
    • Manage Operational Performance
    • Reporting
    • Communication
    • People Management
    • Business Plan Direction and Compilation
    • Departmental Operational Plan
    • Risk and Compliance Management

    Key Requirements:

    • An appropriate Degree or Equivalent in Labour Studies or Social Sciences or Employment Laws.
    • At least 10 years’ experience in Industrial Relations Environment / Labour Law.
    • Must be a Practicing Commissioner. 3 – 5 years must be in a Senior Management position
    • Training in Commissioner Training (includes all CCMA processes and procedures)
    • Training in the Software System relevant to CCMA
    • Training in Financial Management
    • Training in People Management

    Senior Commissioner: Legal

    Key Performance Areas: –

    • Strategic Planning and Policy Formulation
    • Provide Practical and Legal Advisory Service including Commissioners
    • Compile Commissioner Practical Procedure Manual
    • Propose and monitor amendments to the LRA
    • Monitor reviews in the Labour Court
    • Institute/Defend legal action
    • Contractual Authorisation
    • Reporting
    • Financial and Risk Management
    • Communication
    • People Management

    Key Requirements

    • LLB or equivalent Legal Qualification
    • Admittance as an Attorney or Advocate
    • 8 to 10 years’ experience in law practice and managerial skills of which 5 years should be post admittance experience.
