    Marketing Agent: QPro Feeds, Venda (REF: 2025023)

    Job Description

    • The ideal team player will manage designated accounts, and to grow the volume and range of products sold in the designated area. This should be achieved through strategic business decisions, building customer relationships, delivering quality product, and differentiating QPro Feeds as a brand. The areas include: Polokwane, MusinaThohoyandouLenyene.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 (NQF4)
    • Tertiary Qualification (B Agric / B.Sc. Agric) will be an advantage
    • Strong technical knowledge of animal nutrition will be an advantage
    • Valid Code 08/EB driver’s license
    • 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role (selling & marketing)
    • Demonstrated record of success in the agricultural environment (preference towards animal feed background)
    • Fluency in Venda or Tsonga is essential for this role to effectively communicate with our customer base

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the growth in sales of QPro Feed’s complete product range.
    • Building and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
    • Submit accurate weekly/monthly reports as required.
    • Continuous communication between in-house personnel / branches and customers.
    • Identifying and sourcing of new clients.
    • Play an active role in trade shows / farmer days.
    • Deliver innovative and strategic solutions to support and grow the current accounts
    • Being comfortable to communicate and work with customers at all levels of the organisation
    • Responsible for regular feedback to customers on deliveries etc.
    • Managing product portfolio, launches, pricing and promotional activities
    • Managing product forecasting for each account to optimise the company’s procurement and stock levels, and to ensure availability to meet customer requirements.
    • Work closely with the internal team, and having the ability to display leadership, influence, delegation by pulling together of resources where appropriate.
    • Gaining insight about customer requirements, competitors and or market trends and developments.

    Skills Required

    • Understanding different types of animal feed, nutritional requirements, and the needs of livestock farmers in essential to effectively market and sell feed products.
    • The ability to persuade potential buyers, negotiate pricing, and close deals while building long-term relationships with customers.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to maintain and grow customer loyalty, address concerns, and provide after-sales support.
    • The ability to assess market trends and customer preferences to position products effectively.

    Millwright - VKB Engineering Services, Barkly-West / Christiana

    Job Description

    • A qualified Artisan. Install , maintain, test and commission electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and systems at the plant, as well as work on electrical transmission and distribution equipment and carries out preventative maintenance.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12/NQF4

    Duties and Responsibilities 

    • Reduce breakdowns and downtimes periods in the relevant business unit to limit unnecessary costs
    • Install, maintain, repair and commission electrical, electronic and mechanical equipment and systems at the plant, as well as work on electrical transmission and distribution equipment
    • Report machine failure and breakdowns to management, record it on the daily log sheet and ensure job cards are filled in correctly and signed off by the relevant manager
    • Continuously improvement on all equipment and installation measures
    • Ensure preventative scheduled maintenance is done as scheduled and machinery functions optimal on a continuous basis
    • Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements as per VKB standards and procedures
    • Continuously do fault finding and problem solving on electrical equipment
    • Liaise with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure the quality of services and products
    • Complete all compulsory training interventions 
    • Mentor employees to follow standard practices and processes to ensure quality services and less down time in the relevant business unit
